As Pao would say, ‘ang sarap kumain, no?’

This is (was) a serving of Rufo’s Famous Tapa. I was always curious about this place but I never had a chance to try it before because I didn’t see any nearby food places in case they sucked. I was surprised on two counts: there were nearby food places (behind Rufo’s) and they didn’t suck. The tapa by itself is good, but what made it awesome was the generous slathering of sauce over it – kind of reminds me of my childhood days with my family eating at Kimchi over at the SM Makati Foodcourt.

Yes, we’re doing all sorts of reminiscing today, aren’t we?
