Day 20

So today I was supposed to wake up and work out and write in preparation for my time slot to share a message. I was supposed to wake up and get out of bed early. Instead, I woke up at around 7 and got out of bed around 9.

Quickly tended to the plants and took in a pre-workout drink. I thought it would be a good idea to play Fallout while waiting for the drink to kick in, so I started at around 10. Interesting because I took video the whole time I worked out, with the intention of sharing a workout anyone could do. The only thing they would need for it, unfortunately, would be a pull-up bar. But then again, those come cheap even in Lazada.

Monkey Movement

Soon as that was done I put water to boil, and proceeded to write while waiting. Got something ready and posted, see that other post I had for today On Leading. It seemed like a good message to stand and share on but I decided to share stories on working out and stuff like that.

I thought I would be late, but I made it at Good News 3 minutes before 1. Not bad! Soon after that worship started and I eventually preached. It was good to see a lot of people show up this time, and I definitely let them know I was happy to see them. Speaking of which, I hope the recording went well. Anyway, I was more or less happy with my sharing. Proper buildup, before Ptr John talks for 2 Sundays straight.

That was finished, and I took the kids to SM. Dropped them off to enter the mall, before I circled back to enter the parking area. I did it, man. I bought the punching stand, the punching bag, and a pair of gloves. Pretty psyched right now: I was reminded I wanted this for the longest time, and now I’m gonna be doing some serious boxing.

Met up with the kids. I learned it was their first time back in SM since the quarantines started, so I walked around with them. I didn’t have time to treat them to anything because I had another meeting to attend. Told ’em I’d make up for it during our upcoming rehearsals.

Made my way back to Good News for the Sunday Meeting. The usual pandering. That’s all I’ll say. Good to have Miguel and Roscoe around, though. We ended at around 7:30 – a new record.

Dim Sum is a rice multiplier
