Rooted In Christ’s Dunamis Power – October 25, 2026 (309/365)

Worship: Remembering the infinite superiority of Creator over creation. Talaga pong wala Siyang katulad!!

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”

And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:

“Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!”

Revelation 5:12-13

Communion – To Him be all the glory!

Offering – Provision MUST be accompanied by Peace. God LOVES a cheerful giver!

Quick Recap:

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.Colossians 2:6-7

We are Rooted.

And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.1 Corinthians 12:26

We are Rooted, Together.

…though one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.Ecclesiastes 4:12

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.Galatians 6:2

We are Rooted Together, Standing Together. Strong Together.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:4-5

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:9-10

We are Rooted Together, Sustained Together.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.2 Timothy 1:7

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”Romans 8:15

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”Matthew 11:28-30

We are Rooted Together, Rested Together.

4 weeks in, cold calling… and it’s still like 20 years ago, during my 5 months of taking inbound technical support calls.

Yeah, back then I used to speak in tongues while under my breath while in Auto-In, and then just went with it as I took call after call. Before shift, I also watched CreationScapes and Worship network videos of landscapes, worship and Scripture… in preparation for the shift. I used to run to the highway, too, right before taking a taxi to Site 1.

Today, there isn’t too much time in between calls because I need to meet a certain number of dials. But there is the pre-shift “ritual” of just staying in bed, and listening to AI Prayers. Now that I think about it, I probably would do well for myself to get a sweat on before work as well.

Collective feedback from Compassion’s Got Talent yesterday: Love what you do.

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”Acts 1:8

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.Romans 1:16

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.2 Corinthians 12:9

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.2 Timothy 1:7

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.Ephesians 3:20-21

Power in these instances is ‘Dunamis’.

What Dunamis Means – Unlike exousia (formal authority), dunamis signifies raw, inherent, supernatural capability to perform miracles and transform lives.

We are Rooted Together, Powerful Together.

Lest we forget…

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.Colossians 2:6-7

We are rooted together, rooted and built up in CHRIST.

Yes, we need to remember that the focus has always been on Him, and should be, more than we celebrate how we are together, we are sustained, rested, and strong together.

This is what sets it apart from any other secular collective. We are rooted together IN CHRIST.

Amen!

The kids surprised us today with a quick presentation to appreciate the Pastors. Sister Helen was called to pray for us, and she shared this:

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:58

By the grace of God, the finished work of Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit, I shall be steadfast. I shall not be moved. I shall abound in the work of the Lord, moving in peace and power, knowing that my labor is NEVER in vain in Christ Jesus.

Bringing this to work tomorrow.

To the Lord Most High, to the Father, Son, and Spirit be all power, glory, honor, acclaim, strength, praise and worship, now and forever. Amen!
