Captivated (Ps 19) – June 15-16, 2026 (219/365)

Actually, let’s get into that again. I mean, Psalm 19.

Thank You, Father, for the reading of Your Word.

Psalm 19

The Perfect Revelation of the LORD

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.

Words for 40 years ago, and 40 years ahead: Flow. Trust God. Thank God.

Words of 2026: The Year Of Bearing Much Fruit.

Words of the quarter: Dwell on the Word. Wait on the Spirit. Be still, and know that God is God.

Words in the recent weeks: Implementation against impunity, restoration unto (taking) responsibility; Movement directing Foundation, Foundation energizing Movement.

Words in the recent days: Behold. Labor to enter His rest.

And I guess for the moment there is no better thing to behold… but the Perfect Revelation of the Lord. No better thing to labor on… but to behold the Perfect Revelation of the Lord.

1 The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.

…And it doesn’t look like we need to labor too hard, more than to look to the heavens and unto the firmament – that is the, רָקִיעַ / râqı̂ya‛ / raw-kee’-ah / From H7554; properly an expanse, that is, the firmament or (apparently) visible arch of the sky: – firmament.

It doesn’t look like such a great undertaking to behold – for all that’s to be done is to look up to see His glorious handiwork; after all, The heavens proclaim His righteousness; all the peoples see His glory. (Psalm 97:6)

Here it must be said that God’s glory is visible for ALL to see, whether in or out of the body of Christ; For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; (Romans 1:20)

2 Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.

3 There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard.

4 Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun,

5 Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoices like a strong man to run its race.

6 Its rising is from one end of heaven, And its circuit to the other end; And there is nothing hidden from its heat.

Going through this, I believe that the Lord’s glory is so complete and so whole that it is not without revelation – we are not merely left in awe and wonder, but speech is spoken, and knowledge is revealed as we behold His glory.

And I’m also reminded to head out every now and then and behold the skies, instead of staying glued to all these screens. The skies and the heavens are greater than the screens, every single time.

See how profound of a glory is projected! Day and night, clearly heard, clearly read, and actually alive – that is, God’s glory is as a confident athlete, as an expectant bridegroom!

The glory of God is revealed in the heavens and in all creation, as Life confirming God’s Word.

The glory of God is revealed in the heavens and in all creation, as the Living Word.

7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;

8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;

9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

10 More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is great reward.

I’ve written in length regarding these verses, and they all point to where the Word points to – Christ.

So in other words,

Christ is perfect. Christ converts the soul. Christ is sure. Christ makes wise the simple.

Christ is right. Christ rejoices the heart. Christ is pure. Christ enlightens our eyes.

Christ endures forever. Christ is true and righteous altogether.

He is (absolutely) more to be desired than gold. He is more to be desired than our desires. He is more to be wanted than what we insist that we want. Christ is sweeter than honey, sweeter than the honeycomb.

By Christ and His Spirit, we are warned. By His Word, we are warned. And in keeping His Word, we are rewarded greatly.

This is more for myself, really; If we want revelation, we look to the Father’s skies and take in His Living Word, and look deeper into Scripture, to find the precious Word of Life.

Although, side note, as of late I’ve been involving AI (Grok, in particular) as a tool to aggregate what’s already been posted/discussed, as far as acting on revelation goes. I mention this only to keep myself accountable in acknowledging the Holy Spirit, even as these tools are being used.

The tools point to the Word, and the Word points to Christ.

12 Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults.

13 Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression.

14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.

Thank You, Father, for the reading of Your Word. It was timely and necessary, as Brother Juan pushed for us to read it at the end of last Sunday’s service.

We have been duly reminded to appreciate Your glory and be directed to the Word, and to appreciate Your Word to eventually see Your manifold glory.

Many words have been spoken, but it is Your Word that stands forever. We take Your Word, and we are blessed – for Your Word is already a great blessing in itself.

Be glorified and exalted, now and forever. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
