Thank You, Father, for the reading of Your Word.

Psalm 134

Praising the LORD in His House at Night

A Song of Ascents.

1 Behold, bless the LORD, All you servants of the LORD, Who by night stand in the house of the LORD!

2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, And bless the LORD.

3 The LORD who made heaven and earth Bless you from Zion!

Short, and sweet. Starting with ‘Behold’.

Behold, the Man. Ecce Homo. Both Pilate and John the Baptist pointed to Him.

Behold, what manner of love the Father has given unto us. Look to Christ, and allow your eyes to be opened further to high, deep, long and high love that the everlasting God has for you, and for the entire world.

Look to Christ and His finished work, and behold: The God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Creator of all things seen and unseen, the eternally wise and infinitely powerful Maker of Time and Space – He loves you with an everlasting love.

The One who lavishes you with love is the One whose perfect love casts out all your fear. You have been set free of the fear of the worst that can happen, for even if you die, you shall live again (guaranteed by Christ). The wages of sin have been paid, and sin itself has no dominion over you, for you have been brought into grace, from darkness into the Kingdom of the Son of His love.

Behold Christ, and understand that You have been both brought FROM absolute death TO eternal life.

Behold, and do not deny your soul of its natural impulse; Behold, and bless the Lord, and praise His name! Give praise to the Lord, for all He is, and give thanks to the Lord for all He has done! He is our loving God, our great King, and our everlasting Father.

Lord when the world has fallen quiet

You stand beside me

Give me a song in the night

Jesus I need You

Every moment I need You

Hear now this grace-bought heart sing out

Your praise forever!
