The plotting thus far:
Morning Essentials (~5:30am – 7:30am):
I’m thinking this can be done in the span of two hours. I plotted the times as such just so I can get all of this done even if, say, Mom needs to be out of the house before 8am. I’ve also decided, for this section, for me not to open my phone, lest I disrupt any naturally occurring thoughts, reminders and ideas that come up – Like a ‘mini-fast’. If I’m not at home, I could forego the Morning Chores. Everything else can be done no matter where I wake up (Resort, Brother’s House, etc).
- Stretch and make bed
- Prayer/Meditation cycle (Minimum 10 minutes – 20 minutes)
- Unimate, Water to Boil
- Morning Chores
- Stretch, Record Workout, Bath (Minimum 30 minutes – 1 hour)
- Coffee, Japanese supplements
- 8am deliverables
- Bible Study + Writing 1000 Words (As much time as necessary)
Ideally, I should have my quota 1000 words done and posted within this amount of time. In fact, I want to push for that. Hence, using the Bible – not only is it the easiest way to hit the quota, but I’ll obviously need it for all aspects of my being. Also, I’m not going to lie – if I could do more thousands, I will. I want to hit 365 as soon as possible – sure, just so I have breathing time, but also, I want to do something I thought I could have done last year – that is, to go through each of these multi-thousand articles and brutally cut them down to the bare facts without any fillers. That, and perhaps I have other things to try to do with regards to my writing and overall thought management. I want to see how far I could go beyond 365.
And actually, if I’m honest, that’s all I need for myself. The rest of the day can be spent with the following in mind:
Reading / Learning
Content Creation
Social Interaction
Between 12pm – 3pm is when I can take my first meal. I’d have the BIOS 7 pre-meal drink and wait 6-8 minutes, then take a picture of the food I’ll eat, topped off with GNLD supplements. After 2 hours, if I’m feeling hungry then I take a packet of BIOS Life E. After another 2 hours then I take a picture before consuming a lighter meal (again, with BIOS 7 first) or a meal replacement shake, followed up with Filipino supplements..
Evening Essentials:
- Phone out of the room
- Prayer/Meditation cycle (10 minutes)

In the process of trying to integrate the proposed activities for the first two hours of the day. I stayed in bed until around 7:50, then at that point I went to have two glasses of water, before heading to the office to do the deliverables before the clock hit 8am. Any prayer and meditation was done lying down as I went straight back to bed after that.
I spent another hour or so in bed, suited up for working out, took my pre-workout drink, and put a pot of water on the stove. The phone’s battery died so I slacked off a little on the PC while I gave it a bit of juice, enough to record my workout as a time lapse. After the customary full body stretch I proceeded to wrap my hands up; gloved up, and proceeded to hit the heavy bag for 20 minutes, following Nate Bower’s new follow-along video posted around 2 days ago.
In the past weeks I would have called that the end of the workout… but not today. Apparently Iron Wolf may be a little busy as he didn’t post a challenge for January, but that doesn’t mean I turn my back on the burpees. No, I went ahead and did the usual 10-minute punishment: 10 of each – 5-pump, 4-pump, NAVY Seal, 3-pump, 2-pump, and 1-pump burpees. After the final burpee I thought, much more to come.
Around this time I slacked off a little on the PC, watching reactions to Logan Paul’s own reaction to Coffeezilla’s allegations while backing up photos and videos from the phone to the cloud, just to free space on the phone. Took a bath and dressed up, mixed water and coffee and took my Japanese supplements… and I’m back here on Evernote to give an update.
Obviously I didn’t hit all of the items I wanted, I didn’t hit what I could within two hours, and I definitely didn’t start off at 5:30 or so, as desired. Not beating myself up, I’m thinking of this as steps towards consistency. I wouldn’t want to overwhelm myself and get into the rigid groove right away, only to break down and take more time recovering.
But it’s not to say that I should be easy on myself in getting back on track. No, I’m aiming to do much better than this tomorrow. Wake up earlier, do more, and/or do it faster.
I totally forgot that my latest shipment of the pre-workout and pre-meal drink sachets also included a detox kit… so I’m going to have to integrate that into my morning and evening essentials. Here’s an update:
Morning Essentials (~5:30am – 7:30am):
- Stretch and make bed
- 2 Glasses of Water + Paraway (2 pills for the 1st 10 days, 5 for the 11th-30th day)
- Prayer/Meditation cycle (Minimum 10 minutes – 20 minutes)
- Unimate, Water to Boil
- Morning Chores
- Stretch, Record Workout, Bath (Minimum 30 minutes – 1 hour)
- Coffee, Japanese supplements
- 8am deliverables
- Bible Study + Writing 1000 Words (As much time as necessary)
Evening Essentials:
- 1 Aloe Vera Pill
- Phone out of the room
- Prayer/Meditation cycle (10 minutes)
I’m also going back to observing the 4-4-12 cycle; That is, lunch no earlier than 4 hours after breakfast, dinner no earlier than 4 hours after lunch, and breakfast no earlier than 12 hours after dinner. I was pretty diligent in following the schedule with the prescribed times for meal-replacement shakes, but in this case I’m counting coffee and the Japanese supplements as breakfast. Lunch will be my usual meal, but because I’ll be holding myself accountable to other folks who want to start the year right, I’ll force myself back into portioning, and really, appreciating every bite instead of taking as much bites as I could get. Dinner will definitely be a meal-replacement shake – I suppose it’ll help with the detox because I’ll be adding fiber into the shake.
And, actually, I should integrate a fiber packet with my coffee in the morning. Well, not with the coffee (the psyllium would turn any hot liquid into paste), but mixed in a separate cold glass of water.
One final note. I do like counting these logs as my 1000 words for the day, but I’d probably be doing this on top of what I want to count for each day – that is, the quick Bible studies in the morning.
Onward and upward. Until my next post, God bless you.
