Interesting day today. It all started off with me having to wake Mom up at 6am so she could get ready to ‘meet’ her friends who were talking in Mountain Time over at Zoom. Soon as I knew she got on I hopped back into bed.
I got out eventually, tending to the coriander, and fixing the bed. I took in a pre-workout drink and played a little Fallout before working out, or at least enough to get me all fired up. I did a lateral grip pull up to alternate single leg dragon flags, to a dragon flag controlled descent, to 5 knee ups, to another pull up. In between this I was copying photos to the PC, and processing what could have been a post and a blog before 12. The blog went up, but I was far from finished from copying and backing up my photos, so I held off on sharing in IG/FB.
Speaking of copying and backing up, I really need to look at setting up a NAS for home, one that can serve as a file server too. BIG plus if I could access said drive online.
I took a bath, got dressed, and headed out at 1pm, right on time for live worship – well, the second fast song, anyway. Pastor Poppo preached – good points, love how he focused on how perfect love casts out all fear.
After the service I hear we’ll be having our meeting in Good News at 4pm. I decided to go home and get the laptop so I can keep working later. Some of the kids hitched a ride. When I got home I did what I think would be a daily workout for me moving forward.
Not too intense, but satisfying enough to keep me away from bed:
4 sets:
3 pullups to 3 lateral grip pullups to 3 chinups
6 decline pushups to 6 level pushups to 6 incline pushups
9 front/back lunges on each leg
I followed this up with the ATX DB Cardio circuit and then the 6-pack promise. Then a cold bath.
Made my way back to Good News and we had Korean. Good food. While they were doing their thing and talking on their stuff I was grabbing clips from online and converting them for posting. Wasn’t exactly able to post on Youtube though. Will do that tomorrow.

It was good to have discourse over at the meeting. I finally had the balls to speak up a little more, and to challenge the prominent voices, apparently just for me to be heard. I’m glad I got stuff outta my chest, and nobody cried or got hurt. Everyone wins when you have grace. That’s all I’ll say about that.
I come home and I write up a quick 2-session plan I have for the people I will be training through Zoom tomorrow evening. I also send my feedback on the About Us file Ptr John had set up for the church moving forward. Chatted with friends, and now I’m wrapping up this day’s log. Told you I’d get this finished right.
