Life in Christ is never boring, nor is it unproductive. No matter what our flesh demands, no matter what it deems as normal, this life that we have in Christ is never, no never lacking. The Word says that though the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, Christ came to give us life, and life abundant.
Let’s go through that again. The Word says that though the enemy comes to steal our attention, kill our excitement and destroy our focus, we must always remember with every day that we live, no matter what challenges we take on, no matter what mountains lie before us, every day we live is life – real life, life of breakthrough, life of promise, TRUE life – abundant life. Every day in Christ, we are truly alive.
This has to be said, especially now that it’s easy for any of us to be thrown into the proverbial meat grinder, put to the test physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually – in our relations, our actions. There is so much going on in all levels that it’s more vital more than ever to stay our eyes on the One who saves, Christ our Savior.
What hope do we have in anything else besides the Way, the Truth, and the Life? Dear Lord, thank You for the love and grace you show us every day! You are our shield, our present help in time of need, and Lord, we need You more now than ever!
These are exciting times, indeed. Soli Deo Gloria.
