During the early months of 2011 I was on the road a lot because I was practicing my driving, in an attempt to step up to help out around the house a bit more. There wasn’t much to see while we were driving on the way to the Philex mines… oh, sorry – there weren’t much HOUSES to see, in fact there weren’t any at all, which prompted more 10-15 minute roadside shoots, in an attempt to capture the raw beauty of the pine-dotted mountains of Benguet.
If you find yourself in Baguio with some extra time (and gas) to burn, consider taking a road trip to Philex. I have to be honest – we didn’t reach Philex, but we definitely had a blast driving on the road going there.
