First Monday of the week. First Monday of the second month of the final quarter of 2026.
Where do we stand? Well.. We’re good. As Mom said last February 14, right as something very unfortunate was done against our household… “All is well.“
All is well. Because Christ rose from the dead, all is well.
All that’s going on, all that’s happened, all that will happen – Because Christ rose from the dead, I know that the Father’s promises to us are “Yes” and in Christ, “Amen”; And He is true to the Word, specifically where it states that He takes ALL things and causes ALL things to work for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose;
Christ rose from the dead, proving God is true to His Word, and He is making all things work for my good.
All is well. Because Christ rose from the dead, all is well.
Thank You, Father, for the reading of Your Word.
Psalm 125
The LORD the Strength of His People
A Song of Ascents.
Something quick for us tonight.
1 Those who trust in the LORD Are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
These days and ages are chaotic. This world is in turmoil. Entire nations are being shaken. Even the body of Christ is being bombarded by all sorts of distraction, frustration, hindrance and setback – But, all the more, we place our trust in the Lord.
The darker the skies, the more we place our trust in the Lord.
The deeper the pain, the more we place our trust in the Lord.
By the promise of His Word, we shall be as Mount Zion; We may be pushed around, but we shall NOT be moved; We may be shaken, but we abide in Christ, and Christ abides in us, now and forever.
Indeed, we trust in the Lord, and we are not moved, because we abide in Him, and He abides in us forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the LORD surrounds His people From this time forth and forever.
Through Christ’s birth, death, resurrection and ascension, we have received the same Spirit breathed upon the disciples; The Spirit of the Lord has been poured out upon each and every one of us, and it is quite natural for us to not only proclaim, but to shine ‘the wonderous works of God‘, as the people in the marketplace observed.
Through Christ’s finished work, we have the Spirit of the Lord, and we are just as much His people as the people of Israel. Therefore, we have just as much boldness to declare – the LORD does not just abide with us, but He surrounds us, forever.
To build on what we have so far: We trust in the Lord, and we are not moved, because we abide in Him, and He abides in us forever; He surrounds us, as mighty mountains surround the city of Jerusalem.
3 For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest On the land allotted to the righteous, Lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity.
If we were to be honest, the scepter of wickedness MAY fall upon our land (as, through Christ, we have been made righteous), BUT it shall not remain; it shall NOT rest on our land and work lasting iniquity.
We may be shaken. Sometimes, the wicked may have the upper hand – but that is not our permanent state! No, things may come to distract us, and those who call themselves our enemies may have some sort of advantage over us… these may be the facts, but they are TEMPORARY facts against the everlasting Truth – that no shaking, no losses, no defeats shall EVER separate us from the perfect and everlasting love of God… all because of Christ and His finished work!
4 Do good, O LORD, to those who are good, And to those who are upright in their hearts.
5 As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, The LORD shall lead them away With the workers of iniquity.
Peace be upon Israel!
Pour out Your favor upon us, Father! As Christ became our sin that we would become His righteousness… Come quickly to our aid! Our trust is in the Maker of the heavens and the earth, to do good to each and every one us – through Christ, we have been made upright in our hearts, and He shall guide us; He shall NOT lead us away.
All glory and honor to the one true God!
All thanksgiving to the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
Our full and complete trust is in You, no matter how strong the winds and waves of life may be.
And sure as You surround us and stabilize us, You are able to take all things, and cause all things to work for our good.
And it’s all possible, only through Christ and all He has done, is doing, and will continue to do for us.
All glory and honor to the one true God!
All thanksgiving to the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
For tomorrow morning, just as much as tonight – Your perfect and everlasting love casts out all fear.
You cause us to stand on solid ground, that anxiety and fear shall no longer have any sort of control over us.
Father, sure as You are opening doors, so You are also leading us through the valleys, and to the mountaintops. You are true to Your promises, and we thank You, so much!
All glory and honor to the one true God!
All thanksgiving to the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit!
You are worthy, You are worthy of all the praise, Christ Jesus our Lord!
Our burdens – our finances, our frustrations, our relationships, our dreams, our obligations; Our careers, our ministries, our power and our weakness – ALL of us cast upon Your throne of grace, knowing that Your yoke is easy, and Your burden is light.
All glory and honor to the one true God!
All thanksgiving to the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit!
We are rooted, and therefore we are rested. Halleluyah!
You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased.
I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. Psalms 4:7-8
