Christ took all our sins and iniquities. He leads us to still waters. He restores our soul… As we are restored and sustained in His wonderful presence, we have guidance. Indeed, Christ leads us into the paths of righteousness for the world to know who He is.
What an amazing Savior we have. His love is overwhelmingly immense, extremely enormous, and absolutely complete; at the same time it is painstakingly meticulous, deep and detailed, reaching to core of our beings. God reaches out to even the furthest heart with the deepest love.
That being said, when we stumble and fall… when others fall around us… when things do not happen the way we expect… when we see no hope, no immediate semblance of progress… Behold, we are restored… And then some! Praise God! For in the face of failure, we are literally brought back to life by the same power that raised Christ from the dead! And what else can we do but to just receive and believe this awesome, life-changing truth?
When we are in pain, when we are afflicted, Christ is the Life that sustains us. When we are lost, Christ is the Way that guides us. When we are confused, Christ is the Truth that causes us to be still.
Thank You, Lord, for loving me! Thank You, for You are my Shepherd – You alone are able to rescue me, You alone sustain me, and I am guaranteed of a bright and awesome future because of You, and You alone!
