Christ is at the center.
Salvation is the centrality of our being, and Christ is the centrality of our salvation.
We're halfway through this month, and half a month before the halfway point of the year. How have you been?
...the Word became flesh, and dwelled among us. This is Jesus Christ to me, the Living Word, who is also the Word of Life.
I still believe in God's direct and intentional intervention from the infinite to our finite world... but as usual, I will say that these miracles are a far second to the miracle of miracles, that is, Christ Himself.
It's always a treat to look at the Word through the lens of Christ and His finished work.
God's grace is for everyone.
And as we understand what He has done, it's natural that we would either overflow in praise, or stay steadfast in our trust in Him.
Surely, righteousness does deliver us from death. But so it also is the everlasting life in us, present in all that we do, far beyond the treasures we gain, far beyond any profits we perceive and declare with our own limited minds.
