The more we realize that nothing can ever separate us from the love of God, the more we take advantage of the privilege of being in His presence.
The more we live out the Truth of our being in His presence, the more we naturally set ourselves apart from the old mindsets and the dead lifestyles.
The more we understand that, now, through Christ, everything connect us and reminds us of the love of God – the more we live victoriously and the more we move in boldness, in celebration of our having our being in the presence of the Most High, as the Almighty is with us, here and now.
We’re brought from darkness into the kingdom of the sun Son of God, no less and no other than Jesus Christ.
We’ve been brought from death into eternal life.
We’ve been brought from the old that has passed away, into all things that have become new.
We’ve been brought into righteousness and holiness, free from the bondage of sin and the flesh.
Through Christ and His finished work, we have been declared righteous (or, in right-standing with God, that we now also call Him our Father); We have been made holy (set apart from sin, flesh, and death, filled with the Holy Spirit and brought into eternal Life).
As mentioned earlier, the old has passed away, and the new has come. By being declared righteous, we have been given a new identity, and by being made holy, we have been brought into a new location.
And through all of this, how could we resist giving thanks to God? How can we hold back in praising and glorifying our Savior, Jesus Christ?
Where else can we go apart from His presence? How can we forsake the One who has saved our entire being, and redeemed our full spirit, soul, mind and body?
What else is there to do but to revel in His presence, and allow Him to continue to move us from glory to glory, each and every day?
Oh, let us rejoice! For we have been saved, and we have God as our Father, here and now, helping us; As He did with Daniel, so He sends His angels to respond to our prayers. As He did with Elijah and with Jesus, He ministers to us by feeding us.
God IS our very present Help. God IS our Refuge and Fortress. God IS our Father, who is our Vinedresser. In moments where seemingly nothing is happening, oh, let us allow the Spirit to continue to remind us and encourage us, of God’s goodness towards us; He has been good before, He is good here and now, and He will be good in the days, weeks, months, years to come.
We rejoice, and we give thanks! For not only does He help us, but He helps our household as well. As we have believed and as we have been saved, so our households have been lavished with His salvation and presence as well.
We rejoice, we give thanks, and we continue to pray – For, also according to His Word, we are able to cast all our cares and anxieties upon Him, because He cares for us, and is always thinking about us. Oh, for us to take in and rejoice in the fact and Truth that the Creator of the Universe is so lovingly concerned about us!
Give Him praise, give Him all the glory, for He deserves it!
For all He has done, for all that Christ has done, we lift all praise to Him, and to Him alone.
Let us move, as He moves.
Let us keep on going, with all that’s before us, with all we’re busy with, all the while knowing that the God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Maker of the Heavens and the Earth is always with us, loving us, keeping watch over us, taking care of us as a good and awesome Father.
Let us find motivation, let us draw inspiration from the fact and Truth that we will never be away from His presence, sure as the Holy Spirit is with us as He is with the rest of the world – close and present, in all His eternal wisdom and infinite power.
Let us go forth and conquer, knowing that Christ has already overcome the world.
Let us serve with love and humility, knowing that Christ has already won the war.
Yes, we may lose battles and skirmishes, but let us take heart still, knowing that Christ already won the war that matters – the war for our souls; Yes, by His humiliating defeat at the cross, Christ actually won the absolute and complete victory, that we who believe would not perish, but have everlasting life!
Oh, thank You, Father! For You are faithful and true; Faithfully True, and reliable, Truly Faithful, and trustworthy! You are our Firm Foundation, indeed – we stand secure in Your presence and in Your love!
Psalm 150
1 Praise the LORD! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament!
2 Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!
3 Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp!
4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!
5 Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals!
6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!
From His intricate and technically detailed love for us, let us also devote our skill and talent to Him.
Out of the overflow of His overwhelming, everlasting love poured freely into our hearts, let our mouths speak His praise.
For He is great, and He does miracles so great.
We may not know all that is going on, but we rejoice, knowing that we also do not know all that He is doing – surely, He is great, and He does miracles so great!
He moves in us, with us, through us and around us. We are never alone, and we are always in His presence.
We give God all the thanks because all of this was guaranteed by the obedience of His Son, Jesus Christ – as the Word proclaims, though by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, through Christ’s obedience, we were made righteous; And here and now, we are enjoying the presence of the Father.
I’m not going to push any further words at this moment.
I am thankful for our faithful Father. He is good. He is faithful.
Amen.
