Today the country celebrates the start of the Chinese New Year. Apparently we’re to say that this is the Chinese Year of the Horse, and things are going to move.
…and, well, things have been moving. In our household, for example, bad actors have been trying to move our resources away from us. But we maintain, that after all the efforts we’ve made, all the movement we’ve done as a response, our God will always be our good Father, our Refuge, our Stronghold, in whom we place our trust.
We maintain a perspective grounded on Christ’s victory, even this defeat. The battle may be lost, but the war has already been won.
We maintain that our Father is faithful to turn this setback to our benefit and good, and for the glory of His name.
We speak blessings upon everyone who has prayed, and continues to pray for us. We speak blessings upon those who have stepped up to help us, from church brethren to the police who have gone out of their way to help us.
We speak forgiveness upon these bad actors who have appeared to cover all of their tracks. What they have meant for evil, God will turn around for good. May the endless mercies of our Father be upon them, and may they be brought to repentance unto salvation.
We speak forgiveness upon ourselves – we have had a lot of shortcomings leading to this tragedy, and we give God the glory for not making things any worse.
Be that as it is, we maintain that God, again, is our Father and part of our family, and the transgression against us is as a transgression against Him. We watch and wait in His Refuge and Presence, knowing that vindication is in His presence.
Thank You, Father. Thank You, Jesus. Thank You, Holy Spirit.
God is my Father and He will cause all things to work for the good of those who love Him.
I speak blessing upon everyone else who has hurt me, knowing that God was hurt with me; To them, may the endless mercies of our Father be upon them as well, that they would be brought to repentance unto salvation.
To my brothers and sisters who have trusted me with the issues in their own house, particularly regarding members of their tribe that have hardened their hearts… Oh, we pray, in the name of Jesus, for breakthroughs and miracles to happen to them as well, that the goodness of God would be made clearly visible, and for this goodness to cause their hearts to soften, their minds to change, and for repentance unto salvation be on their shores as well.
This is a world full of chaos and things are just escalating. It truly is as predicted, that knowledge shall increase, and the hearts of men shall grow cold. Apparently, said increase of knowledge would also have our minds divided, our focus diminished – even the most despicable of crimes are being put into the sideline because there’s just so much more happening.
It’s as if we’re being given front-row seats to witness just how the human mind is unable to handle such an increase in data.
The prayer seems to be for us, as always, to heed the call of Wisdom (as written in the Old Testament Proverbs), and to focus on Wisdom above intelligence, and above knowledge.
We aren’t dumbing ourselves down, mind you. We’re placing our trust in the One who not only knows everything, but apparently also is the only One who can HANDLE infinite knowledge. And, sure, in some circles that’ll sound like dumbing down, but what I’m realizing is that the other side of the coin would drive us into inevitable madness and insanity – again, because we CAN’T handle all the knowledge and intelligence.
God has a Method in the madness. He is the calm in the Chaos. He spoke light in the chaotic waters, and to this day, there is light.
Christ spoke peace, and the wind and the waters obeyed Him. He spoke, ‘It is finished’, and the earth shook, the sky turned to night, and the veil in the Holy of Holies was torn from top to bottom. Creation responded to the Way established, and to free access to the Creator through His Son.
Truly, His Words are Spirit and they are Life.
Praise God for the revealing of His Word.
May Words be seen in His movement, and may Life and the Spirit be realized as the world moves.
May the Word bring Spirit and Life in all our own movements.
May the Lord be glorified to the maximum in all of it; May His kingdom continue to expand, faster and faster unto the glorious day.
He is worthy of all praise and glory.
