Let Your work appear to Your servants, And Your glory to their children.
And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands.
Psalms 90:16-17
It is good to give thanks to the LORD, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;
To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night,
On an instrument of ten strings, On the lute, And on the harp, With harmonious sound.
Psalms 92:1-3
For You, LORD, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands.
O LORD, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep.
Psalms 92:4-5
We behold the works of the Lord, and ponder upon them, considering that they are demonstrations of glory, and of His deep thoughts.
We give thanks to the Lord for His works, considering that they have made us glad, and by them, we triumph… And as we behold His glory and wisdom, we are brought to declare His lovingkindness, and His faithfulness; But, most of all, we allow His goodness in Him and His works, establish the work of our own hands.
We reflect on all He has done, for us to establish what we do.
Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
Unless the LORD had been my help, My soul would soon have settled in silence.
If I say, “My foot slips,” Your mercy, O LORD, will hold me up.
In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.
Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, Have fellowship with You?
They gather together against the life of the righteous, And condemn innocent blood.
But the LORD has been my defense, And my God the rock of my refuge.
He has brought on them their own iniquity, And shall cut them off in their own wickedness; The LORD our God shall cut them off.
Psalms 94:16-23
February 17, 2026 Morning
Hear a just cause, O LORD, Attend to my cry; Give ear to my prayer which is not from deceitful lips.
Let my vindication come from Your presence; Let Your eyes look on the things that are upright.
Psalms 17:1-2
In the presence of the LORD, vindication comes. He truly is our Defense and our Refuge, and in these moments, we place our trust in Him.
I could set my eyes on the punishment of the wicked, or even on how the LORD shall deal with them… But there is also the option, choice and privilege to take refuge; That is, to focus on the safety of His presence.
I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God; Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech.
Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You From those who rise up against them.
Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,
From the wicked who oppress me, From my deadly enemies who surround me.
Psalms 17:6-9
In all this, with everything in my mind,
He who has knowledge spares his words, And a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.
Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace; When he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive.
Proverbs 17:27-28
Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!
The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge.
Psalms 46:10-11
God is our Father, our Refuge and Stronghold.
We shall be calm, we shall be still.
We shall behold His works, and from the awe and wonder, allow our own works to be established.
Our eyes are ever set on Him, and as we behold His goodness, may we continue to be transformed by the renewing of our mind.
May we continue to take heart, knowing that our God and Father is truly faithful to make all things work for the good of those who love Him.
May we continue to allow the Word of Christ to serve as Spirit and Life to every aspect of our being, and may vindication come as we revel in His presence.
And in all this, may our God – Father, Son, and Spirit – be glorified to the maximum.
To God be all glory and praise, forever and ever!
