Endorphin rush.

Thank You, Lord! Thank You for every thing that’s going on, and more for Your presence and Your faithfulness through it all!

Thank You, Father, God of Israel, Maker of all things seen and unseen – for You are here, right here, right now, and right – That is, You are righteous and present with me, and with Your body, not because of our works, not because of who we are; No, You are our Father, and You are here and now, ALL because of Christ and His finished work!

By the grace of God we are who we are, and You continue to move in and through us, ministering to us, provoking gracious change that accompanies our repentance – that is, we continue to be transformed by the renewing of our mind…

…and this renewing is brought about by our constant meditation on Your Word, which reminds us of Your goodness and greatness, Your glory and grace. It all points to Christ, and Christ, through the Holy Spirit, points us back to the Word.

We live from the knowledge of Your Word. We live, knowing that Your Word is life; and we live, knowing that Christ is this Living Word that is alive in us.

Thank You, Lord! Thank You for everything! Thank You that even in these moments, You shine in our lives, and You shine Your light in all that concerns us, all that we’re concerned about, and, well in ALL.

Thank You, Father! Thank You, Jesus! Thank You, Holy Spirit!

After-meal Pondering.

Thanking our God and expressing gratitude again, for He is good. He is good, and His grace and glory is as present in all I’m concerned about, just as much as He is with me.

The Holy Spirit is present and very present in all corners of reality, faithful to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment – all that we would come to the knowledge of the Gospel of Grace, ultimately seen and reckoned in Jesus Christ and His finished work.

That is my prayer, here in now, in all that is going on – in Venezuela, in Iran, in Sudan, in Israel and in Gaza in particular; In our beloved Philippines, in Baguio City, and in our neighborhood… My prayer for my family, my congregation, and to the church and council, my prayer for Chelmi, and for everyone else – is for the goodness and glory of God, the Father’s grace and greatness to be distinctly visible, seen, heard and acknowledged in all that is going on – for my peace of mind, for the will of the Father, Son, and Spirit to be done, and for our God to get the highest praise.

In this, we are very blessed, indeed – for with what the world says are blessings, or in its absolute absence, we will ALWAYS be in the intimate presence of the God of Israel; We will ALWAYS be so close to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, much so that we can call Him our Father; This great God, this One True God is always on our side, never against us, and because of Christ and His finished work, NOTHING can ever separate us.

Endorphin Rush Again, But Also Early Morning Jitters.

Well, not really now. I was out of bed earlier today, around two hours earlier than usual. Leaving your phone in the office and not beside you as you wake up – there’s a primo, grade-A lifehack.

Anyway, yeah, what got me out of bed (and earlier this time) wasn’t the guilt that (naturally) comes with doomscrolling, but I had all sorts of ideas. Ideas, that is, for the tasks I had ahead, as I listed the tasks I had ahead for me.

And, really, I must say that I’m still hung-over from working 10 hour shifts for 3 days a week, and that’s getting me a whole lot more efficient. I mean, sure, there’s much room for improvement (re: handling distractions, staying focused, and staying tuned in), but there’s a lot that was done between last Monday to today.

I give God all the glory and praise, because however we see it, I’d like to go ahead and make the claim that this first real week of 2026 has been productive.

We give thanks to God, indeed. For faith does come by hearing, and hearing the Word of God – and even if our ears aren’t actually hearing the Word being spoken, or even if our eyes aren’t seeing the Word being displayed, we have the goodness of God demonstrated by the Holy Spirit, whose power ensures that we are constantly soaked by the Word, and/or surrounded by songs of salvation and deliverance.

Sure as the Holy Spirit convicts the world, so He also convicts us – and we are therefore faithfully reminded, every moment, and in every breath we take, every beat of our hearts: Of the greatness and glory of God, of the goodness and grace of our Father, all for us and not against us, lavishing us with everlasting love, fully guaranteed, now and always, by Christ and His finished work.

Thank You, Lord! Thank You for today! Thank You for Your lovingkindness, and thank You for constantly reminding us that we have been fully cleansed of sin, completely clothed in righteousness. Thank You for Your only Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord who – by the manger, the cross, the empty tomb, and the ascent at the mount – ensured that we are never alone, never forsaken, always connected, always cared for by no less than the one true God, the God of Israel, and of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who, by His Word, created the heavens and the earth!

My, that was a mouthful. Thank You, Lord! Just, thank You so much! I’d rather smother myself with these praises and thanks – in fact, I thank You, Father, for this option, privilege and opportunity, to run to You, to let it all out before You, to lay all my concerns, my grief, my anxiety, my worries, my regrets, my yearnings, my desires, my intentions, my thoughts, my calculations, my realizations… I thank You, LORD, because I can lay ALL of myself before You, because You are good and glorious, willing and able to help!

Thank You, Jesus! Thank You, Father! Thank You, Holy Spirit!

All praise and glory and honor and power to the name of our God, who is our Provider, our Banner of Victory, our Healer, our Righteousness, our All in All. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, for this time.
