God In The End, God In All (Psalm 148) – December 28, 2025 (379/365)

Endings and transitions going on. We’re seeing so much ending. Also, Mich pointed out that we’re coming from the Year of the Snake, which is a year of shedding. And speaking of Mich, well, that’s the Baguio Mich. My neighbor. I’m slowly but surely moving into taking in the Lord when the self-imposed memories of the Manila Mich (which and whom I’ve held on to for so long) come back.

I’m personally also seeing some transitioning in the recent days… well, mostly also self-imposed. Transitioning from work and focusing now more on church life. Transitioning from 2025 to 2026.

We have a lot on our plate. Setting up for the theme for next year. Setting up the system for next year as well. The system has to include church time, as well as a revamp on my personal time. In my resignation letter I’ve specified one thing (work) replaced by three – church, home, and business. The system has to include all three.

God is so good. I’m learning the deeper definitions of love. I’m learning that love is as much responding to the one who is loved, as much as it is the overflow from myself. I’m learning that love is learning to walk away, and living my own life to the fullest. I’m learning to say ‘I love you’ by saying ‘Thank you, sorry, and goodbye’. I’m also learning how to say ‘I love you’ without saying a word – that is, without the need to satisfy the temptation of saying/writing one last thing, and just walking away, respecting things as they are – for the sake of the one who is loved, and for my own sake. Is there anything in the Bible that supports this…?

The day is just beginning… and much light has already been shone. Hah – ‘shone’ is actually a word. Shined. No spelling error indication there either.

Let’s take in the Word today, before the rest of the day storms in.

Psalm 148

Praise to the LORD from Creation

1 Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights!

2 Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts!

3 Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all you stars of light!

4 Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, And you waters above the heavens!

5 Let them praise the name of the LORD, For He commanded and they were created.

We praise the name of the Lord, and we cause the rest of Creation to give Him praise, ‘For He commanded and they were created‘; That is, we have been made by way of His word, and with our words, we ought to praise Him.

6 He also established them forever and ever; He made a decree which shall not pass away.

We give Him thanks, because by His Word (which does not pass away), so we are not only made but established, and by His Word (Christ, the Living Word), we do not fade into oblivion, but we move from glory to glory, now and forever.

Indeed, when we say we have been saved, this means we have been re-made, and re-established; When we take in the salvation that comes only through Jesus Christ, we have more cause to say that we shall not pass away, but we shall live to declare the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

This remains in spite of all we face – whether ends or transitions, beginnings or changes, the Word remains. The Word, that is, who IS the Living Word – Christ, our rebirth, reconciliation, righteousness, and rest.

7 Praise the LORD from the earth, You great sea creatures and all the depths;

8 Fire and hail, snow and clouds; Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;

9 Mountains and all hills; Fruitful trees and all cedars;

10 Beasts and all cattle; Creeping things and flying fowl;

11 Kings of the earth and all peoples; Princes and all judges of the earth;

12 Both young men and maidens; Old men and children.

What else is left to say, on this day full of realizations?

That’s right, at around this time last year I was speculating, realizing that this 2025 was going to be a year of revelations… and indeed, we’ve seen revelations, and a lot of them as of late.

Again, we’ve realized – rather, observed – ends and beginnings. But here we realize that through it all, we’re brought to remember the Word – The Word of God, which brought everything that exists into existence, and the Living Word, that is… WHO is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Christ is the Beginning and the End, present in the end of things, and the end of seasons.

Christ is the Life, present in static states, just as much as He is with us in transitions.

13 Let them praise the name of the LORD, For His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven.

14 And He has exalted the horn of His people, The praise of all His saints— Of the children of Israel, A people near to Him. Praise the LORD!

More to come, shortly. God bless you.
