Brainwashing? Nope. Brain draining, more like.
Letting it all out of my mind, my heart, my body.
Well, did the body first. Sweated the hell out of myself. Now about to just let all sorts of stuff get out of my chest.
We may be under statack. We may assault ourselves with overthinking.
We have a lot on our plates, that’s for sure. But nothing compares to just praying, and my case praying in the form of writing, for me to get things cleared out, settled down.
God is good. He is good, and He is good all the time. He is good right now. He is always working for our good. He is faithful, when we are faithless.
He is for me, and not against me. These words may not be spoken out loud, but they have their impact, nevertheless. He causes all things – even these words – to work for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
We give thanks to God – We give thanks to our Father, for all the love and the light. For the full and eternal life that we have, all through the Lord Jesus Christ.
We give thanks to God, here and now, for His presence. His lovingkindness that endures forever is here, and it is ministering to each and every one of us in the body of Christ, right now.
We give thanks – oh, we give all thanks and praise – To our Father, for He is always thinking about us.
We give thanks to our Father for He is faithful to respond, each and every single time we come to Him. He responds to us, according to the riches of His grace, every time we run to His throne – His throne, coincidentally, of grace.
Thank You, Lord! Thank You for Your grace. Thank You for Jesus Christ, the embodiment of Your grace, Your only begotten Son who You gave for the forgiveness of our sins, and for our reconciliation.
Thank You, Lord, that here and now, in spite of all that we have going on, we are clean and cleansed – though our sins were scarlet, You have made us white as snow.
Thank You, Lord, that here and now, we can enjoy Your presence – Through Your Son, You have reconciled us, and we are as close to You as we could ever be, alive in You as You are alive in me.
Thank YOU, Lord, that in spite of all the noise and all the distractions that are literally happening around us and near us, You are our Strong Tower.
We may hear of threats, and we may have so much in our minds that would discourage us or plant seeds of fear… But You continue to faithfully sing songs of redemption and salvation; we are surrounded by songs of deliverance.
We may not be in the best place right now. We may not be in the nicest of seasons… But, oh, even during these times, Lord, You ARE our Firm Foundation. We stand secure, not according to what our senses perceive, but we stand secure upon the eternal Rock of Ages.
Lord, I’m all over the place right now, but You hold me together!
I’m feeling all sorts of things, but You are my Peace!
Thank You, Lord! Thank You, that here and now, You are ministering to me!
As the words just continue to be squeezed out, or as the words just continue to flow, no matter what, oh, You are the consistent, faithful One. Again, I say, for myself – You are faithful especially now that I am weak and faithless.
So many things have rendered me vulnerable and weak, in a void I never imagined I’d be in again.
So many things are happening right now that are just rattling me, but, oh, my Lord and my God – You are here as well!
You’re pouring out Your Spirit, You’re proclaiming Your deliverance and Your salvation upon me.
Your Spirit constantly reminds us – and He IS reminding me, convicting me right now of the Truth of things – of the sin of the world, of the judgment of the enemy, and, of all things, what stands out – our right standing, our absolute righteousness before our God.
Here and now, I am clean and free of sin, clothed with righteousness, and my God looks down on me with favor, as an everlasting Father.
Let this Truth just permeate in me and all that concerns me. You are for me, You are not against me.
You move in our midst, just as You move in all that concerns us. You are present, and Your miracle-working power is present and working in all we are conscious about, and all that escapes our mind.
MOVE, Lord. MOVE. Thank You, because as the song goes, You never stop working.
All for the glory of Your name.
All for the praise of Your name.
You open our eyes to realizations, infinitely superior to presumptions.
You direct our minds to revelations, infinitely superior to perversions.
You remind us, through all this time, that You love us with an everlasting love.
I haven’t been doing any scheduling, nor have I been updating an Excel sheet about my activities for the day.
I haven’t been very consistent with all that I’ve sought out to do – and I’m sure some of it has to do with me not being accountable with my self through said Excel sheet.
What HAS remained, however, is this protocol – to exhaust my body, and to release all that I could from my mind, that I could be ready for anything – working my part time job, reflecting on what needs to be done in ministry, and, God willing, everything else I’ve set out to do on the side. Yes, the side projects come back to mind.
I will continue to do all of this, because I suppose it’s helping me. I still have reason to believe that all the exhaustion (all the working out, and all the writing) has a compound effect, and through it I am getting better and better, literally fulfilling the Word of our moving from glory to glory, where every day is brighter unto the morning sun.
There’s a revelation. There’s a validation. Things may not necessarily be happening the way I envisioned them to, but all the same, we are held in His everlasting arms, kept in cycles He established.
Sorry, if you were reading all this and expecting something substantial… Well, I don’t think there’s anything here.
All hail the power of Jesus’ name,
let angels prostrate, fall.
Bring forth the royal diadem and crown Him Lord of all.
Amen.
