Lest I Forget – September 13, 2025 (300/365)

No matter who dies, no matter who rises to power, no matter what narrative is prevalent, and what other narratives are being force-fed to our brains…

No matter what the ages and the signs are showing us, and no matter how worked up we get about all of it…

No matter what is going on in our own personal lives, and what is going on all around us,

no matter what we are struggling with, and what we are having ease in doing,

no matter what we are facing in our future, dealing with in our present, and recovering from in our past…

We ought to always, always give heed to the Holy Spirit, always give in to His convictions – that in all of this, the world is so saturated in sin and doomed to die, and that the enemy of this world will eventually come to judgment… but, for those of us in Christ, we are righteous, here and now, unto forever.. and as we give heed to the Holy Spirit, and yield to His reminders, we could not help but humble ourselves, get ourselves together, and move – in prayer, thanksgiving, and praise – for the world to know His goodness, and for the world to come to repentance.

I’m just allowing all of this to flow in and through my mind right now, in spite of all that I’ve brought myself into, in spite of all the thoughts that are trying to tear me down. I’m thankful, that even right now, the Holy Spirit is here and present, fully alive in me, no matter how I saborage myself. Truly, not even what I do is able to separate me from the love of God for me, all guaranteed through His Son, my Savior, Jesus Christ.

For all this, I give glory, here and now, just expressing with all that I can gather within me – that God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – is worthy of all praise and glory, He is worthy of all adoration and honor, He is worthy of all recognition and worship.

Be exalted, my Lord, in all creation! Be exalted in all aspects of my life, and in all that concerns my being – that all of me would continue to conform to the perfection You paid for at the cross. Move me from glory to glory.

Let all that is wasteful and dying be cast aside. Let all that is praiseworthy be kept and nurtured.

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow!

Praise Him, all creatures here below!

Praise Him above, ye heavenly host!

Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost!

Indeed, blessed Holy Spirit, flow in and through all of us as a mighty River! Purge all that weighs us down.

Flow, Spirit, flow – and as You flow, may we yield, and may we move, just as You move with us when we take action, ourselves.

And in all of it, Father, we give You thanks. We thank You for Your faithfulness, Your everlasting love, and Your glory known in and through us.

Work in our hearts and in our minds – Reprogram us, reformat us, direct us.

Father, do not allow us to go to the left, or to the right. Keep me, in particular, focused – Keep me productive, keep me in the straight and narrow.

Direct me, guide me, walk with me step by step if You must, but keep me going. Do not allow me to be discouraged, bring me to remembering Your goodness each and every time.

Restore to me the joy of my salvation, and remind me, by Your Spirit, to take heart.

When I am tired, I wait on You, and You restore me.

When I am weary, I wait on You, and I speak of Your goodness.

Overwhelm me, Father. Just as Your Son overcame the world, so You overwhelm me with all that is eternal and infinite – not for me to take in, not for me to understand and contain, but to trust and to depend on.

Indeed, Father, even in the sabotage, and especially in the consequences – You are faithful. You are trustworthy. Jesus, here and now, You are Faithful and True.

MOVE, my Lord. MOVE in a mighty way, as You always do. Take all the glory, and MOVE. MOVE, in the name of my Savior… Move.

Psalm 13

How Long, O LORD?

TO THE CHOIRMASTER. A PSALM OF DAVID.

1 How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?

2 How long must I take counsel in my soul and have sorrow in my heart all the day?

How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

3 Consider and answer me, O LORD my God; light up my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death,

4 lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed over him,” lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken.

5 But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. 6 I will sing to the LORD,

because he has dealt bountifully with me.
