All gratitude and thanks to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; The Father of our Savior, God’s only begotten Son, Jesus Christ!
All acknowledgement and all recognition, all trust to the Holy Spirit, poured out upon us, God’s infinite presence alive and with is in this finite reality!
Through the Spirit’s power alive in us, we see all things, and declare that all things give maximum praise to God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
By the finished work of Christ guaranteeing our lives and our entire existence within the Godhead, we have peace in all things, peace that goes beyond all human and finite understanding.
Indeed, we need Him today. Yes, we are in need of Him, totally dependent on Him every single day we exist in this temporary reality, but today, of all days, we are trusting Him to the point that we are crying out to Him;
Yes, as David called upon His name in the days when the Psalms were composed, written and performed, so we muster all our emotions and all that we can bring together, representing all of our beings…
…and we cry out in praise:
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty!
Heaven and earth are full of Your glory;
Hosanna in the highest!
We stand in awe of You!
Holy God to whom all praise is due,
We stand in awe of You!
…and we cry out in thanks:
Thank You for loving us,
when on the cross You made history!
Lord, You died for me,
forever my praise will go to thee!
We’re so amazed, and we give You praise,
for the power of the cross!
…and we cry out in trust and dependence:
Lord, we want to thank You,
for the works You’ve done in our lives
Lord we trust in Your unfailing love,
for You alone are God eternal throughout earth and heaven above!
Yes, Lord, before any plans are written, and before any moves are made,
Lord, before any responses are drawn, and before any measures are taken,
Lord, before any actions, and before any reactions,
Indeed, we want it with all our heart: To praise You, to thank You, to proclaim our total trust and our desperate dependence upon You.
We want to acknowledge You in our ways, that, from Your infinite perspective, You would establish our thoughts in this finite reality.
We want to involve You in all our plans, that, by Your eternal wisdom, You would direct our steps in this time-bound existence.
You have helped us in the past; surely You are very present help, well, here, in the present.
Just as Your Word pierces all the way to the marrow, so I have cause to believe that Your wisdom and counsel are timeless; For our past, present, and future, all at the same time.
Now, in every breath we take, every beat of our hearts, we are in awe of Your greatness and glory, Your goodness and grace; We thank You for Your love.
Thank You for this time. Thank You for being the Rock on whom we stand.
Thank You for Your faithfulness, and Your being with us, as close as You can ever be to us, now, always, and forever.
Thank You, for in these critical moments, You remind us of our righteousness; That is, that nothing can ever separate us from Your love, and everything reminds us of the Truth of who You are;
Thank You, for You are for us, never against us. You cause all things – in and apart from our awareness – to work for the good of all who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
Our trust is in You, Father. We depend on You, our sweet Savior, Jesus. We thank You for Your faithfulness, great Holy Spirit.
Thank You.
Now and always, be glorified in all things, be glorified to the maximum.
Christus victor, Christus salvator.
