Proper Prep Work (A Psalm?) – June 17, 2025 (228/365)

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow! Praise Him, all creatures here below! Praise Him above, ye heavenly host,

praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost!

Amen.

Declare the wondrous, glorious works of God in the morning! Acknowledge Him before the rest of the day unfolds.

Praise Him, oh, praise Him! For He is worthy of all praise and worship, deserving of all glory and honor.

Give Him thanks, and sing for joy! For He has done great things, He is doing great things, and even greater things are to come!

We give thanks to the Father, the everlasting Father of Lights. We give thanks to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, acknowledging that He is everything, and we are absolutely nothing without Him.

He has given us everything, and we know this because He has given us His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

Through Jesus Christ we have been saved. By His birth, death, resurrection and ascension, we have died to the power of sin and the flesh, and the chains of these afflictions have been broken.

By the finished work of Jesus Christ, not only has the old passed away, but the new has come; We have been made new creations – New wineskins, and new temples.

We have been made new, in order for us to be filled by the Holy Spirit – The Spirit of Adoption, the Spirit of Truth, the Spirit of the Living God, poured into us as new wine, He is the glory that is alive in us!

Oh, give thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ, for He is the ultimate expression and demonstration of our God’s everlasting love for us; He is, indeed, our Abba – Our Father above all fathers who loves us completely, fully, and absolutely!

Oh, give thanks to our Father, for His consistent, continuous, constant love for us! Give thanks to our God, give thanks to Jesus Christ, for through them we have the Holy Spirit, here and now!

Give thanks, give thanks and praise, for the Holy Spirit is with us now.

He is with us, and not only gives us wisdom but IS our wisdom in all the decisions we need to make.

He is with us, and He not only gives us power – He IS our power in all the things we need to do; In our planned actions, and our sudden reactions.

Praise Him! Praise Him for all He has done!

Bless His holy name! Bless His name, and forget not all His benefits!

To God be all the glory, now and forever!

I have a little more than 20 minutes before I clock in, and I must say, I am thankful, and I am just in awe of our God.

I am thankful for the coordinated, perfectly time, eternally impactful finished work of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit… to save a wretch like me.

Everything is seen from the wonder of a child. I’ve been driving for at least 10 years, and though I don’t drive like the first time, I feel the awe just like the first time.

It’s the same thing with so many other things, recently. I’ve been so thankful for the opportunity to write, to speak, to preach.

I’m thankful and I’m still in awe of how I’m able to take pictures, and how I’m able to use AI.

I’m thankful I’m able to throw decent punches, and that every response and step I take while boxing has its meaning.

I’m just thankful to be alive, and gratitude is such a great power to lean on, especially in ventures I once thought were impossible or greatly intimidating at the very least!

I thank God for this time, I thank God for the opportunity to take calls again, to help people over the phone, to add value to a company;

I’m thankful for the opportunity to earn a significant amount in exchange for my time; I’m thankful for the mindset that has me prepared for when these blessings come my way.

I’m thankful for the wisdom that the Lord gives us – not only to handle sudden calamity, but also sudden blessings! We are good stewards because Christ has been and is always a good Steward towards us!

We care for others as He cares for us. We love others as He loves us.

Thank You, Lord! Thank You, so much!

I sing praises to Your name, oh Lord

Praises to Your name, oh Lord

For Your name is great, and greatly to be praised

I sing praises to Your name, oh Lord

Praises to Your name, oh Lord

For Your name is great, and greatly to be praised!

We will always have more reasons to thank God than to complain.

We will always have more reasons to praise God than to fear.

We have the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit has us.

In awe of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, faith arises in us, and our minds are changed.

We flow. We trust God. We thank God.

I appreciate you taking the time to read up to this point.

Not sure what you’re going through, but you’re never going to waste time when you thank God, and when you praise God.

He is just so good, all the time.

Until the next post, may the Lord continue to bless us all. Amen, and amen.
