For All He’s Done, Amen. – March 07, 2025 (117/365)

To the way You give Your love,

To the way You give Your grace,

To the way You give Your perfect peace,

Amen.

Indeed, our Father is worthy of praise and thanks, for His everlasting love upon us, His amazing grace that holds us together, and His perfect peace, His peace that goes beyond all human reasoning and understanding, that sustains us and keeps us upright, even in the most testing and challenging of times.

8 Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!

9 For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things. Psalms 107:8-9

It is not only the hungry soul, but the longing soul that our Father not only sustains, but fills. We are thankful, because He doesn’t just feed the hungry with food, but He also satisfies every other desire that we may have, with good things – indeed, all good things come from God, and we would know that they come from Him (1) because He adds no sorrow to them, and (2) they would glorify Christ, and they would remind us of His finished work.

That’s right – His steadfast love is for us and not against us, and we know that He projects and displays and demonstrates His love towards us, by way of His works – His wondrous, magnificent, amazing works – towards us… But, lest we are distracted by way of focusing on said works, we are duly reminded by the Holy Spirit that there is no greater work than the birth, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ – there is no greater representation or demonstration of the love of God, than our Savior Jesus Christ, Himself.

Now, the more I look into Psalm 107, I see that those verses I quoted earlier seem to be a form of chorus, to be sung after every proclamation. I suppose that this is the main gist of the entire Psalm – That we would naturally give thanks to the Lord for His steadfast love, and HIs wondrous works to the children of man; But, in our case, in the body of Christ, we give thanks to the Lord for Christ – the greatest expression of God’s love, His work is the most wondrous one of all, towards all of mankind.

Without going through the rest of the verses, and focusing only on what we’ve establish as the Psalm’s ‘chorus’, we pull up the following:

15 Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!

16 For he shatters the doors of bronze and cuts in two the bars of iron. Psalms 107:15-16

Earlier, we established that Christ is God’s steadfast love and His finished work is our work for this season and age. We’re also saying that Christ is the only One who could truly satisfy our soul, and He is the only One who can meet and exceed all we are longing for… And surely, as He is the Bread of Life, we are constantly filled with good. Here, we read of how our risen Savior sets us free, breaking any doors that keep us in, and slicing any bars that hold us into two. It is for true freedom that Christ has set us free, and we stand fast in this liberty and freedom.

21 Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!

22 And let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of his deeds in songs of joy! Psalms 107:21-22

31 Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!

32 Let them extol him in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders. Psalms 107:31-32

Because Christ is our Provision, Christ is our Satisfaction, and because Christ is our Freedom, we are therefore free to sing and praise Him, thanking Him in all things, rejoicing always. And we praise Him when nobody is around, as much as we are encouraged to praise Him in the assemblies and in the congregations – Proclaiming His steadfast love, the great works He has done!

I thank You Lord, for this moment

I thank You Lord, for life and strength

I thank You now, for brand new mercies and grace

that keep me every single morning that I wake

To the way You hold me close.

To the way You never leave.

To the way, someday, You’ll come back for me,

Amen.

Father, thank You, for all that You have done. Thank You, for who You are, and for constantly reminding us, by the power of Your Holy Spirit, that You are for us, and You are never against us – You are with us, and nothing can ever separate us from Your love, through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank You, thank You, for Your faithfulness, for never leaving us, for always being with us.

Minister to us, and our entire beings, right here, right now; With all we’re going through, with all we’re thinking – with all our concerns, our worries, and all that causes us anxiety; With all our desires, wants and needs, Father, minister to Your children, and in so doing, be glorified and honored all the more. By way of Your wondrous works towards us, may the world and all within this existence see, without a shadow of doubt, how much You love us… and may the world also be drawn to His love.

Thank You, Father, for everything! Thank You for this quick moment to reflect on You and Your goodness. Thank You for Your Word, that reminds us of perspectives of Your goodness we have long been aware of, and Your Word which reveals new things to us each and every time – much like Your mercies that are new every morning. Thank You, Father, for everything!

Sorry, I just thought I would let off some steam, by way of all this. If in case You were ministered to, well, I am thankful. Continue to be blessed and continue to give praise to our Father, for Jesus Christ!

Until the next post, God bless us all! Amen.
