We give thanks to God for His glory.
We give thanks, because He shows us our direction. We are thankful, and we are at peace, knowing that He gives direction to us – personally, to our friends and family, to all our spheres of influence, and to the body of Christ as a whole.
We give thanks to God for His grace
We are thankful, because through Christ our discernment will be realized; That is, we thank God because His revelation-giving wisdom is present in our plans and our plan ‘B’s, in our actions and our reactions.
We thank God and encourage others to give thanks, because we are prepared internally against all falsehoods and half-truths, and we are also protected externally, from all deception and distractions.
We thank God, because we shall find ourselves soaking in the waters of Life – Revelations.
We thank God, and we count on Him to make our paths straight.
Thank God, for He is the One who not only directs us, but prospers and corrects/rightens our roads.
Thank God, for He is the One who makes our ways pleasant.
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is the One who establishes our thoughts, our plans, and our steps
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is the one who establishes our preparations (past), our intentions (future), and our present actions (present).
Thank God, indeed! For He answers us not merely with revelations but with accompanying healing to our flesh, and refreshment to our bones.
Thank God, indeed! For He will tell us great and hidden things that we have not known.
Sound complicated? Too much to memorize? Let’s condense it further.
Or maybe, we should just go back to the original verse, huh? I just realized I was the one who was expounding on it, and we really shouldn’t leave it like that.
After all we don’t disassemble guns or cars, appreciate each part, and leave the parts all over the place, right? We need to put them back together… only this time, we aren’t necessarily back to where we started. A greater understanding would have us appreciating and therefore utilizing the machine more effectively, more efficiently.
So with that in mind, let’s just reference the verse all that came from, Isaiah 28:17:
And I will make justice the line, and righteousness the plumb line; and hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and waters will overwhelm the shelter.
…and let’s modify it, effectively simplifying what we’ve learned:
Thank You, Father. For You made Your glory our direction.
Thank You, Father. You made Your grace our standard.
Thank You, Father; You sweep the refuge of lies away from us, and Your waters of Truth will overwhelm us.
Much better, don’t you think? But we can make it far more portable:
Thank You, Father – for Your glory and grace, for purging the lies and filling us with revelations.
What about just, ‘thank you, Lord‘? That’s the Matrix in a nutshell.
Putting all that aside, let’s go through the cycle… and in the process, may we find ourselves in the loop.
I praise and thank God, because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. My entire being is a testament to my Creator, who not only looked through the tiniest of details with infinite wisdom, but also everlasting love; I am just so thankful and grateful to know that He knows all there is to know about me, from beginning to end – He knows all there is to know about me, and He loves me still.
I thank God, for I can make this claim because of who Jesus Christ is, and what He has done for me. I thank God – and I thank Jesus – because while I am fixated on what He has DONE for me, I’m being led to pleasantly consider what He is DOING to me, and what He WILL DO for me… and all of it, without any trepidation, because His Word has stated, and He Himself has proven – Whether in the past, present, future, before or beyond time: He is for me, and now against me. Another reason to thank HIm!
I thank God again, for Christ, through Whom I am filled with the Holy Spirit – the Holy Spirit of Truth that leads us to all Truth, the Spirit of Comfort, and the Spirit of Adoption that has me running to my Creator at my time of need, calling Him my Father.
I thank God. I thank my Father. For I thought that I would never know the love of God due to my (self-imposed) mental limitation, which states that knowing God is the same as knowing your own biological Dad – Only to find out that it works the other way around. I thank God, because I got to know His love for me through Christ, and when I allowed the Holy Spirit to work in my own mind to take in said everlasting love, THAT’S when my eyes were opened to how my biological Dad loved me!
Indeed, I thank God for the overwhelming realization, the revelation that my biological Dad may not have loved me the way I expected him to, but he loved me despite this, and he loved me with his best!
Thank God for these revelations, which come right on time!
…and if it seems as if we’re going back to last year’s theme of trusting God, don’t be surprised – for no matter what year it is, it remains the same: You can’t trust God without thanking Him, and you can’t thank God without trusting Him. And as we’ve established article after article… You trust Him, you receive revelations… and also, probably more practical for some – Keep thanking Him, and receive His revelations in your life at the right time and place.
We seem to have started this year on a rough start. For some kids, they resumed classes as soon as January 2. The city we live in was overflowing – not necessarily with Truth, but obviously with people and cars – and our patience has been tested. Some people have observed how fruits, particularly bananas, aren’t just expensive – they’re literally absent at a time when they were expected to be sold by the sacks in the city market.
Speaking of the city, on the local and national scale, Election season is looming, and tensions may not be felt by the general public just yet… but you can be sure that various factions are preparing, not only for promotion, but for conflict on all legal fronts.
On the international level, we’re seeing the situation in Syria, the fires in California, and the winter storms in the eastern coastline of the USA. With a wary eye we’re also recalling what came before these incidents – the situation in Gaza, the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, and so on.
And when I say ‘rough’ I’m not necessarily just talking about ‘bad’ situations from all scales: Personally, we’re finally about to start a venture we’ve waited 3 years for. Things are breaking down in both the physical and the mental, which are actually more liberating than unfortunate – It’s like Mel Gibson’s comment about his own Malibu home burning away while he was on a podcast with Joe Rogan; ‘I’ve been lifted free of the burden of my stuff’, he said. I’ve been lifted free from limitations that were imposed by the gear that I had, and by the mindsets that I once protected, nurtured, and otherwise held onto dearly.
Holiday traffic season is gone, we have endured the traffic and our city has profited… and there’s a short period of respite just before the flower festival season, complete with its own traffic and profit.
When I say ‘rough’, I’m saying that, whether we see it as ‘good’ or ‘bad’ in our own lives, it’s clear that now, more than ever, we’re in a season of confusion and compromise.
There is that famine, but it’s a famine of Truth: The suppression and opposition of Truth.
This famine is also the promulgation and promotion of lies: Junk food making us fat, poisoned knowledge making us stupid.
But, again, thank God! For indeed, this is the year when we thank God…
For in the confusion, God’s glory is our direction.
In the compromise, God’s grace is our standard.
And our hope and trust is in the Lord, who sweeps the lies away, and overwhelms us with the Truth.
Thank God for the Revelations.
And in the Revelations, do not be surprised if you find yourself thanking God.
This year, as in last year, we thank God and trust God, we trust God and thank God, and we flow in His revelations.
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow!
Praise Him, all creatures here below!
Praise Him above, Ye heavenly host!
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost! Amen.
Until the next post, may the Lord continue to bless us.
