Before going any further I just want to quickly share a post I copied from the Facebook page of Jesus King of kings International Ministries (JKOK); JKOK is where Andrew (my brother from another mother from Dubai) serves, and I think it’s just timely to see what they had to share:
Grace received, Glory manifested.
“For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly. Psalm 84:11
Meditate on this verse and trust in what the Lord has already planned for you from the beginning—to give you both grace and glory! Wow!
Charles Spurgeon once said, “It is His glory to give His grace; and because of His graciousness, He gives glory. Glory never comes without grace coming first, but grace never comes without glory coming last; the two are bound together, and ‘what God has joined together, let not man put asunder.'”
Grace and glory are divinely connected. Grace is the seed—planted and given by God! Everything we have comes from grace, and we reign in this life through the abundance of grace (Romans 5:17). When a believer is rooted in grace, the fruit he bears is “glory.” Yes! Glory is what you will manifest. His goodness, His power, and His majesty will shine through you effortlessly because of His grace. It becomes a beautiful cycle—grace received, glory manifested.
Praise the Lord!
Now, your part is to grow in grace and desire to encounter more of God’s grace so that you can experience the undeniable glory of the Lord. And as you do, trust that His glory will overflow into every area of your life—your family, ministry, career, business, health, relationships, and more—in abundance! Amen!
While we saw aspects of God’s grace and glory in Isaiah 28:17, they saw it from the viewpoint of Psalm 84:11.
But there’s something else. Let’s check the context of the verse, and I mean the verses surrounding it:
10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory;
No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.
12 O Lord of hosts, Blessed is the man who trusts in You!
Psalm 84:10-12 NKJV
Friends, here we see confirmation: Not only do we trust God and receive revelations of grace and glory, but here we see we’re able to receive revelations of grace and glory, PRECEDING our trust in the Lord.
I think that’s pretty awesome.
Let’s keep going.
(cue Dragonball Z English dub) Previously, on the blog: (end dub)
By God’s glory revealed, our direction will be shown – to us, as individuals, as a congregation, and as the body of Christ.
By God’s grace manifested, our discernment will be realized – in our plans and our plan ‘B’s, in our actions and our reactions.
Sure as we are prepared internally against all falsehoods and half-truths, so we are also protected externally, from all deception and distractions.
And finally… we will find ourselves soaking in the waters of Life – Revelations.
Revelations imply the following:
He is the One who makes our paths straight. He is the One who not only directs us, but prospers and corrects/rightens our roads; He is the One who makes our ways pleasant.
He is the One who establishes our thoughts, our plans, and our steps – our preparations (past), our intentions (future), and our present actions (present).
He answers with healing to our flesh, and refreshment to our bones…
He will tell us great and hidden things that we have not known.
Let’s keep going down this road of Revelations.
3 “The former things I declared of old; they went out from my mouth, and I announced them; then suddenly I did them, and they came to pass.
4 Because I know that you are obstinate, and your neck is an iron sinew and your forehead brass,
5 I declared them to you from of old, before they came to pass I announced them to you, lest you should say, My idol did them, my carved image and my metal image commanded them.’
6 “You have heard; now see all this; and will you not declare it? From this time forth I announce to you new things, hidden things that you have not known.
Isaiah 48:3-6
Did you notice something in these verses from Isaiah?
God has provided revelations in the past, so when they eventually come to pass, we would give Him the glory instead of placing our own ‘idols’ and ‘carved images’ on the pedestal – Consider that our modern day version of these things could very well be our puffed-up views of our own limited intuition, or us giving more credit than what is due to our finite senses.
As we trust in Him, He makes our paths straight, and so on; He graciously establishes our thoughts, plans and steps, that in the end we would recognize His power and wisdom, and give Him the glory. His grace precedes His glory. Indeed, in this cycle of trusting Him and receiving revelation, and discerning revelations and placing our trust in Him, let us not be surprised if, through all of it, we are glorifying Him, and Him alone – giving Him thanks, celebrating His grace, and recognizing His glory.
There’s something else, right? In the cycle of trusting and revelations, we find ourselves worshipping God, and giving Him thanks.
And that’s good enough, right? Well, guess what – the moment we bring ourselves to worshipping God and giving Him thanks, we are brought right back into this cycle of trusting Him and receiving His revelations.
Let us take this moment and just give thanks to God, and give Him the praise due His name!
Apparently so much more happens when we praise Him… things move, from the inside out and from the outside in, in our moments of gratitude and worship.
Last year, one thing that really stood out for me was revealed in the final quarter – simply put, we’re to flow, trust God, and thank God. Right now I’m thinking that we trust God for our future, we thank God for our past, and we flow in the present. However, I’m also considering that our gratitude to God isn’t just for the past, but for all things, from all periods – That is, that we thank God, not only for the past, but we thank God for the present and the future.
It’s not too hard. We thank God for His faithfulness and His presence in the past, sure. We also thank Him, for He is faithful to cause all that has happened in our past to work for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
But we also thank Him in the present – for our being alive in the present. We thank Him, because there could have been a thousand and one other things that could have happened against us in as quick as seconds in the present, but none of it comes to pass because He is for us, and not against us. We thank our God, because right here and right now – not just in the past, but in the present – He is with us, and as close to us as He could ever be, no matter what has been done or is being done, no matter what we’ve thought or are thinking. Consequently, we thank Him for His faithfulness, in these moments.
We thank God for His presence in the present. We thank Him for the Holy Spirit that imparts wisdom, both suddenly and spanning longer periods of time, and the assurance in the present of His being with us in the future, just as He was with us in the past.
For purposes of the theme of this year, we are also just as thankful for what is to come – we are thankful, and we give thanks for the past, the present, AND the future.
So here we have what I’m calling the Matrix of Revelations:
We give thanks to God for His glory.
We give thanks to God for His grace.
We give thanks, because He shows us our direction. We are thankful, and we are at peace, knowing that He gives direction to us – personally, to our friends and family, to all our spheres of influence, and to the body of Christ as a whole.
We are thankful, because through Christ our discernment will be realized; That is, we thank God because His revelation-giving wisdom is present in our plans and our plan ‘B’s, in our actions and our reactions.
We thank God and encourage others to give thanks, because we are prepared internally against all falsehoods and half-truths, and we are also protected externally, from all deception and distractions.
We thank God, because we shall find ourselves soaking in the waters of Life – Revelations.
We thank God, and we count on Him to make our paths straight.
Thank God, for He is the One who not only directs us, but prospers and corrects/rightens our roads.
Thank God, for He is the One who makes our ways pleasant.
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is the One who establishes our thoughts, our plans, and our steps
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is the one who establishes our preparations (past), our intentions (future), and our present actions (present).
Thank God, indeed! For He answers us not merely with revelations but with accompanying healing to our flesh, and refreshment to our bones.
Thank God, indeed! For He will tell us great and hidden things that we have not known.
Yes, I suppose the Wachowski Brothers would have been proud.
But one last thing – it’s apparent that we trust God and thank Him, and we flow, yes? But here we’re seeing how we’re able to thank Him just as we are able to trust Him – and all the same, the revelations flow, and we flow in revelations.
This is wonderful stuff – the end of 2024 melting with the beginning of 2025.
I’m pretty sure I’m going to need to work a little more on this. I know we’ve spanned at least 3 articles on this theme of the year already, but there are a couple of other things I want to try covering.
What does Andrew Farley have to share at the beginning of the year?
What did Joseph Prince declare for 2025?
How does all this tie together?
Gosh, there’s also another note I put on the side here, where I pasted what AIs had to say about revelations. I’m excited and scared at the same time to see how all of this ties together. Could it just be possible that this will all align with flowing, trusting, and thanking God?
I mean, it’s already tying in to that theme. Again, scared and excited.
Until the next post, God bless us all. Greatly. Mightily.
