We’ve come a long way since I made the decision to go through what Isaac had to share for me and for a whole bunch of us, almost 10 years ago. I thank God for the guidance and the wisdom, being with me in every single moment since, with every word I’ve typed, and every article I’ve run through ClaudeAI.
I’ve more or less had the said AI assist me in summarizing all we’ve gone through ever since last month… so here goes.
Historical Context
Back in 2014 the drummer we had helping us out in our worship service had made claims that he received prophetic words from the Lord, and these words first made their way to our senior pastor at the time, who eventually turned out to be such a good mentor for me.
Not only was my mentor taking lead in our afternoon service, but at the time he also had gained substantial experience in serving in local government. For the most part since then, he’s placed more focus on the latter, while entrusting me with the leadership and handling of the said service.
Ever since a couple of months ago my mentor and his family have asked me to pray for them as he was meditating and pondering on whether he should go for re-election for a position in the local council, or if he should seek higher office (and, consequently, be a part of a national council)… and he eventually found confirmations from all around, including from me… but one sign that really stood out were the words of the drummer, which my mentor read almost exactly 10 years since the day he shared them to him.
…it wasn’t just the timing that was on point, what was more important was that the drummer said, again, almost exactly 10 years ago: That he saw my mentor in the said higher office. This was a major factor and reason behind his filing a certificate of candidacy.
Seeing how things were unfolding for my mentor, I thought I should also give some consideration to what the drummer shared for me last November 2014. What revelations do I have for myself in this season?
Analytical Framework
Scriptural Foundation
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not despise prophecies, 21 but test everything; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil.1 Thessalonians 5:16-22
1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.1 John 4:1-3
I decided to go through the prophetic words with a fine-toothed comb, doubling down on every nuance I notice. With the assistance of the OliveTree Windows app, (1) I would try to look for what significance a certain word or phrase has in the Scripture.
(2) I’d also look and think about how these words connect to Christ and His finished work… OR (3) I’d look at the said words through the lens of Christ’s finished work. Of course, as in anything it was absolutely necessary for us to (4) acknowledge the Lord in this plan and this way, so our thoughts and steps would be established.
We’re aware of the Word, we’re keeping Christ in mind (and keeping the mind in Christ), looking at how the prophetic word connects to (or is seen through) His finished work, all this time acknowledging the loving presence of our Father in all that we do… and (5) relying on the Holy Spirit – Yes, the same Spirit who leads us into all Truth – to guide us through every word, every thought, every step of the way.
One more thing, when it comes to my approach – and I want to make this absolutely clear. I believe that the drummer came to me with this prophetic word, and he was at least secure enough to share it all in one big block of text, which contained what words he had for other ministers at the time as well.
Though his choice of words made the prophecies directed towards me, I thought I would also do whatever responses I have (6) thinking about the entire body of Christ, and not just me – in other words, I believe the ‘blessings’ spoken to me here are actually applicable to all of us in the body of Christ, BECAUSE of Christ and His finished work.
Progressive Revelation Pattern
As I kept churning out article after article on this series, I found myself running what I’ve been composing – more recently compared to when I started – through ClaudeAI. Besides being such a great help in getting my thoughts and words together, the AI definitely helped me out here, with what it thought were other patterns I took in drawing out revelations.
We take a look at the prophetic word, one line at a time. In each line, we take note of the external symbols mentioned before seeing how they are portrayed or what they represent from a spiritual viewpoint and/or a perspective considering eternity is our reality. Then when that is established, we take time to see how they are linked to what is happening in this world – that is, what our limited senses perceive and determine, in us and around us.
We take a look at these lines, and whenever we observed events that are already amazing feats in this physical world, we saw how we’re able to do so much more when we see things from a spiritual standpoint.
When we remember Christ’s words when He told His disciples that they would do greater things than He did, He wasn’t telling us to brace ourselves for feeding fifty thousand when He fed five thousand – while that certainly sounds possible, I don’t believe that was the core of His point.
When we marvel at how He walks on water, we don’t look forward to our playing basketball on the surface of a wild ocean, but we speak, as John spoke – ‘Who is He, that the winds and the waves obey Him?‘ We observe that this Man – who has absolute dominance over what we thought were the binding laws of physics – is truly the Son of God…
…and this faith authored into us, this belief we have in Him is the catalyst, the foundation for us to do the ‘greater things’ – peace that goes beyond human understanding, everlasting love that causes us to love others as He loves us, patience and longsuffering that speaks more volumes than the most capable of orators, and so on…
Finally, as I said earlier, these words may have been directed to me as individual prophecies, but we thank God because we’re led to proclaim how whatever we’ve drawn out here isn’t necessarily just for me, but for the entire body of Christ to partake of. I agree with the kids – Sharing IS caring.
Symbolic Elements & Their Evolution
**I know I said at one point that I won’t be sharing all of the words that Isaac gave me… but at this point, with all we’ve discussed so far, I think they aren’t just for me to analyze, but for all of us to observe, and receive.
The Golden Scepter
“…the Lord is handing a golden scepter to you. it is covered with gems and light found only in Heaven.”
The first thing that came to mind was the scepter of King Cyrus, which he held out to Queen Esther – first, for mercy, because her approaching the throne without making an appointment was punishable by death; and then, as a prelude to favor – because after they settled in, he offered the Queen anything she wanted, even half of his kingdom.
In this recollection, only the king had the power to proclaim mercy and favor. But I believe we all have a scepter – just as we’re commanded to love one another as Christ loves us, so we are able to extend mercy as we have received mercy (and we DO receive mercy, new every morning), and we’re able to extend favor, just as we have been given much favor from God.
But it goes even further, because the prophetic word says that this golden scepter is covered with gems found only in heaven – again, this reminds me that the power, favor, and mercy that we extend has its origins in eternity; In other words, we’re willing to love, in and with power, favor and mercy, from an everlasting love, granted to us by an infinite, powerful God whom we call our favorable and merciful Father.
Finally, we read that scepter is imbued and covered in light found only in heaven – and this just tells me that what we have isn’t gold and jewels as we value them here on earth, but, as we’ll continue to read here – what we have is of eternal value, here in the temporal.
This all reminds me, this ought to remind us that we don’t just have any ordinary love to give to others. The love we give is a love we first received, from our infinite and eternal Creator, whom we now call our Father, through the finished work of Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
We have a scepter – a reason to celebrate God’s infinite power and His everlasting love for us, His absolutely benevolent favor upon us, and His mercies that are new with every morning. As we are loved, favored upon, and given mercy for all eternity, so we are able to overflow this treasure, here and now.
We bear Christ, we bear the Light – the Light that is infinitely superior to anything we can ever claim to boast of having in this fallen world, the Light that is life and gives value and meaning to everything that we have in this world.
The Crown
You are being crowned with a crown nothing like i have ever seen. it is full of the Lord’s glory.
Royalty is outwardly authenticated only when he or she wears a crown – in other words, a king is known as a king by the crown he wears. It is also a reminder upon the one who wears the crown – not only of his great power and authority, but also his great responsibility (as Uncle Ben says).
Putting it simply for all of us in Christ, I believe that we are all ‘crowned’ with no less than the Holy Spirit, poured out upon us. Glorious crowns made of the most precious of materials out of all Creation weigh heavily (in physical weight and/or material cost) on the one who wears it… But the Holy Spirit, as tongues of fire, rested gently upon the heads of the disciples in the upper room.
In place of geopolitical power and an ultimately limited scope of authority, the Holy Spirit that rests upon us and is ‘crowned’ on us is a Spirit of absolute Truth in a world increasing in both quantity and ‘quality’ of lies. He is the Spirit of Adoption and the Spirit who convicts us of righteousness – that is, through Christ’s finished work we have been so reconciled to the Creator of the Universe, that we are able to call Him our Father.
Earthly crowns represent limited authority over a limited area… The Holy Spirit alive in us convicts us of absolute reconciliation with the Authority of all Authorities, now and forever, no matter what.
The Thorns
the Lord wants you to know:
i shall take away the thorn which pierces your heart. i will put a crown on you. i will honor you as a king. i will lift you up. i will tear down the walls which hinder you from the ministry i have given you.
When we talk about thorns, and when we bring up the Bible, I’m led to Christ’s parable of the Sower and the Seed, and where He explains that the thorns in the parable were representative of ‘cares of the world‘ and ‘the deceitfulness of riches‘ (Matthew 13:22)
I haven’t mentioned this before, and I might as well be open about it now. Beginning last 2021 I started to grow concerned of how my savings were getting considerably, consistently lower and lower… and it was also around this time that I was led to try crypto mining. I made a considerable investment and I was on my way to recouping my losses.
Starting the first quarter of 2022 I watched too many YouTube people and took whatever they shared as good calls, even if they said (genuinely or just for compliance) was ‘not financial advice’. I started making considerable investments in crypto ‘nodes’, and looking at all of the ones I jumped into, they ended up two ways – you do get consistent amounts of crypto within certain periods of time, but eventually the value of the coin just drops to fcuk-all, and/or you just get rug-pulled, or scammed.
It was also during this time that I jumped into all the hype regarding NFTs, and seeing how OpenSea, Rarible and all those other sites once bustling with activity are just… well, in fairness to them I haven’t really logged into them for a LONG time, so let me check… yup, they’re still collecting dust. Oh, so are the ‘nodes’ I still have.
Later in September 2022, Ethereum shifted from Proof of Work (PoW) to Proof of Stake (PoS). So, yeah, I lost that source of income – and what really bummed me about that was that I didn’t earn back everything I spent on to get it all started.
Fast forward to today; The world is more or less recovering from all the effects of the scamdemic COVID-19 – Money has begun moving around again, and expenses have piled up, and it’s come to a point where I was wiped out – or, well, technically I’m down to very critical levels regarding my savings, and there are a whole lot of other things that are going on right now that could use the liquidity and flexibility that money brings.
The cares of the world have piled up, and I find myself, sure, a whole lot wiser from all the lessons, but nevertheless still encumbered by the impact caused by the deceitfulness of riches.
I continue to thank God, and to say, praise Him from whom all blessings flow… for in the wake of my suffering all the consequences of my negligence and my impulsive mistakes, I’ve learned a lot… and I’ll just go ahead and play the Direct Quote card here and share what I wrote previously about all of it:
“I give glory to God, because through this ongoing journey of redemption and Renaissance, I’m learning of the futility of our own insistence of growing and being blessed, and the abject need for us to continue to trust in God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) – for, again, God gives the growth, and the Holy Spirit produces the fruit.”
The thorns that keep the seed from growing, and that eventually choke them out, aren’t necessarily things of this world that occur from the outside in… sometimes, as in these cases, we find that the thorns can come from the inside out just as much, in the form of limitations we impose upon ourselves, through our own insistence ‘of what fruit we should be producing’ and our yielding to ultimately fleshly expectations or interpretations of what it means to grow.
One other thing I’d like to mention, while I’m being quite transparent, and while this is all probably ‘insulated’ with a lot of text both before and after, is that even if Christ explicitly mentions the ‘deceitfulness of riches’, I venture to say that He doesn’t mean money is always involved when He says that thorns were the ‘cares of this world’.
Temptation takes on many other forms, but mainly turning stones into bread (to satisfy hunger), jumping off buildings (for assurance of safety), or straight up bowing to the tempter (desiring wealth and power). In my case, I could think of a couple of other things as ‘thorns’ representing ‘cares of the world’ in my own life in particular.
And again, I thank God, because we’ve learned a lot with these thorns, particularly in our being reminded of God giving the growth, and the Holy Spirit being the One behind the fruit that is produced in us.
Perhaps we need this sort of reminder sobering us and clearing our beings, before we witness and experience the real possibility of (1) God taking away the cares of this world (in all of their forms), and the deceitfulness of riches, and/or (2) our being ‘crowned’; rather, our being reminded of the crown we wear, which is – or, based on what we talked about regarding crowns, WHO is – the Holy Spirit.
Christ took the crown of thorns for us to be crowned with the Holy Spirit.
I just noticed now that I only focused on the thorns and I forgot to talk about the rest of that line of thought.
We give God the glory, because by His grace and by Christ’s finished work, yes, we are crowned by this same Holy Spirit that lifts us above anything that this world could offer; We are crowned by the Holy Spirit, and by Him, any wall the world tries to stop us or hinder us with is torn down.
We are reminded that Christ has taken away our cares of this world – love of money, commercialized misinterpreted perversions; Christ has taken away the allure and the consequent deceitfulness of money, and He has given us the Holy Spirit: The Spirit of Truth that leads us into all Truth, the Spirit of Power, Love, Self Control and Sound Judgment.
The Jordan River/Living Waters
From hereon out, I seem to have re-arranged the prophetic words and linked similar phrases together. this following one is the first example:
you are like the clear waters of Jordan. you will be my channel of blessings for young men to be delivered to my glory. like the streams of Jordan, you will overflow.
There were a number of things we talked about when we read about the Jordan River throughout Scripture:
- People and communities gathered around the Jordan, knowing that they could survive along its banks, and wherever it passes, the surrounding land is blessed. Both Israel & her enemies settled by or along the Jordan.
- Nations of different tongues settled along or nearby the Jordan, because the Jordan Valley was ‘well watered everywhere like the garden of the LORD’, and was therefore chosen by Lot.
- Writers used the Jordan as a point of reference for many important events – so and so happened on this side of the Jordan, something happened further away from the Jordan, etc.
- The tribes of Israel were ‘divided’ by way of their position, or on which side of the Jordan they chose to settle in.
The Jordan River was a point of reference, a place to thrive and survive. It was a point of reference writers used in relation to a location, and event, etc.
We also recognized the Jordan River being the basis for finding where the tribes of Israel chose to settle – Some in the ‘Promised Land’ in one side, while the rest chose to settle on the other side of the Jordan.
We also read about where the Jordan was where John was doing his baptizing… and whereas it was implied that people were ‘divided’ by the river in earlier times, we see that, through John’s baptizing, it shifted from being a point of division to a point of congregation.
Once, John baptized people who gathered at the banks of the Jordan River – Christ baptizes with the Holy Spirit. John baptized people, immersing them under a river; For whoever believes in Christ, rivers of living water shall flow out of their belly.
We’re thankful for the Holy Spirit poured into us through Christ, so that we would be a channel of blessing to others; We are not instigators of division. Light draws people in, and so do rivers: People would gather and marvel at the forgiveness of sins which we have through Christ.
We would be channels of blessings, indeed – and it all starts with the Blessing of all blessings: the Holy Spirit. We testify with divine timing, for the goodness of God to lead multitudes to repentance; Not by our strength, but all by the power of the Holy Spirit alive in us.
We are overflowing with living waters no matter what we have or what we don’t have. We have inspiration and motivation to live, because we overflow with life. Through Christ, we overflow with the Holy Spirit; We live because of the Life in us.
Through this we see another aspect to the salvation we have through Christ. At times when we think we have nothing, may we realize we have all things – we have no less than real LIFE through the Holy Spirit, alive in us. May this Life add value and meaning to all we have, and may this Life also give us peace for what we insist we SHOULD have.
The Young Lion/Walking on Water
your strength is that of a young lion. like a deer you shall leap high over hedges.
Lions in the Bible are portrayed as strong and majestic… but a quick search of ‘young lions’ in the ESV has you reading verses mentioning some power, but more on two things: Their roar, and their appetite.
During the Lausanne Congress Reunion we all had a task: In 30 seconds, share your name, your ministry, and one word that described your Lausanne Congress experience. Everyone else was hogging words like ‘awesome’, ‘inspiring’, ‘incendiary’ even; I said I was hungry.
I chose to be involved in the Filipino Community birthed out of this year’s Lausanne Congress because I was already blown away by how fascinating it was for me to connect with fellow believers, and fellow members of the body of Christ all over the world. I saw folks from the USA, India, and Kenya – all speaking the same language: The goodness of God that leads to repentance.
I didn’t just want to see and hear, but connect to other believers who profess and actually live out the same Gospel that saved me. I really was hungry. I’m still hungry. I suppose I’m pretty loud when I’m hungry… but I’ll tell you this – The Lord gives me my food, and I am strong.
To God be the glory and all the praise. For as He feeds us and strengthens us, we are reminded, first of our dependence on Him, and second, and more importantly, of His faithfulness, willingness and ability to help us. To feed us.
i have given you the strength of Jesus Christ to walk over water.
We all know what was written. Peter was walking over the water, but then he saw the waves and felt the winds, and began to sink. As he was sinking, he called out to Jesus to save him. Jesus, still standing on the water, “took hold of him, saying to him, ‘O you of little faith, why did you doubt?'”
A whole bunch of us love to take this story and speak against our doubting and/or the ‘size’ of our faith… But here’s what we should consider also: With the ‘little’ faith Peter had, he was already able to walk on water, as Jesus walked.
Don’t get me wrong, we really should be speaking to address our doubts, but here I’m going to choose to emphasize on how it’s not anything else but faith that had Peter, and even Jesus, doing supernatural stuff.
Now what’s all this telling me? Our true power in the body of Christ is not found in our being as strong as lions, nor is it seen in our being able to walk on the waters. Our true power is found in our dependence and trust in God.
Christ is the Author and Finisher of our Faith. We have no ‘little faith’ as sinking Peter had. No, I dare say that it wasn’t by any work of our own, but only Christ’s finished work that fully established the faith that we have, and the Spirit that is poured into us.
This faith that we all have as believers in Christ has us appreciating the Truth – That is, what we have now is FAR more than having the power of lions, or the strength to walk over water.
God gives the power. Faith precedes strength.
At this point, let us remember that all that Christ did preceded from the Father, and was with all of us in mind. Let us also consider that, indeed, Christ confirms that we can do so much more than displaying physical strength, more than our feeding five thousand people, and more than walking on rough seas.
But are these what we should be looking forward to? I don’t believe so. The miracles, and the greater miracles Christ says we shall do? They’re when we love one another as Christ has loved us, and when people, tribes, and entire nations see how we love one another, they shall know we are Christ’s.
That’s just one example. The rest of the world could come up with their communication strategies, print, produce, prepare all sorts of media, pay all sorts of people to promote a message. All we have is the Living Word.
Through Christ, the Living Word, they shall see God’s goodness, which leads their minds, brilliant as they may be, hard as some of them could be, to repentance, and full transformation from the renewing of their minds.
See, we’re only able to properly understand and appreciate the ‘greater works’ when we have ‘greater faith’; and understand that before you even had a handle on ‘your’ faith, it was Christ who was and IS not only the Author, but the FINISHER of your faith.
This is why we’re hungry for God to feed us. We’re asking the Savior of our souls to keep authoring, keep finishing the faith He began in us. And, in fact, we aren’t just asking – No, we ROAR for God to give us power… and we find our satisfaction, not when we eat, but when, by the faith-borne power given to us, others are fed.
All this is reminding me of something that we all have – Faith. The book of Romans tells us that the righteousness we have is apart of the Law, and by this faith. It’s Christ who authored this faith in us, and this faith continues to grow.
Christ’s finished work was the catalyst of the authoring of our faith, and consequently, the beginning of wisdom. Before we had our fantasies on power and strength, we’ve been given faith.
God gives the power. Christ began the faith. Faith precedes strength.
Light and Transformation
you shall see with your spiritual eyes and hear with your heart the voices of a thousand angels, Heaven opened and my face. let my light shine in your life.
We must make mention of the darkness where we once were, before we marvel in His light.
But before we even knew we were in darkness, we were blind to begin with. Our eyes may have been open, but all we saw was darkness. For this reason God delivered us from blindness first, before calling us out of the darkness, calling and saying, ‘let My light shine in your life.‘
Paul tells King Agrippa in Acts 26: He was appointed and sent to the Gentiles ‘to open their eyes‘; to deliver them from blindness, so that THEN they may turn from darkness to light.
At this point I just want to give thanks to God, because our being in the light implies so much more – we have been healed of our blindness, AND we have been called out of the darkness.
We were in the darkness – we were under the power of Satan, in sin and separate from sanctification.
But now, we praise God, because through Christ, not only have our Gentile eyes been opened, but we have been called out of darkness, out of the power of Satan. We have received forgiveness of sins, and we have been brought out into the light, ‘a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Me’.
Glorious Children
you are my dearly beloved son. your sons shall become conquerors of this world.
Peter mentions in 2 Peter 1:16-21 of how they saw Christ’s glory and majesty – the integral basis and foundation for their proclaiming of His power and His return. The Gospels recall of at least 2 incidents where God proclaimed to those around, that Jesus Christ was His beloved Son, ‘with whom (He is) well pleased’.
In both incidents, glory was involved – first, descending upon Him, and then when He changed form/appearance into a more beautiful and spiritual state. Also in both incidents, the Holy Spirit was present and just as involved.
This is the same Holy Spirit that leads us to the Truth: The Truth that He is the Spirit of Adoption that causes us to call God our Father. We who are in the body of Christ are children of the Most High.
We’re so thankful because this Holy Spirit causes us to call God our Father, but at the same time, we’re also reminded of His descending upon us with glory, and His changing us a new creation – the old has passed away, behold the more beautiful, the more spiritual has come.
God is our Father, and we are His children. We enjoy His comprehensive grace, and from His absolute glory we proclaim: No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.Romans 8:37
In all things we conquer, through Christ, who loved us and lay His life down for us.
In all things we conquer, through God our Father, who loves us, and proclaims to us: we are His beloved children, in whom we are well pleased.
This is the Gospel:
Christ delivered us from blindness, and took us out of the darkness into His eternal light. Once we were under the power of satan, separate from God, devoid of glory.
By Christ’s obedience, we have been brought back into the presence of God, reconciled to Him.
Now, He calls us His children, and we call Him our Father, enjoying His presence, His glory and grace, here and now, unto forever!
And we give praise to God, because we are given opportunities in this dark, fallen world, to shine, so that as we conquer by this Gospel – by the grace of God, by the finished work of Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, others will also be delivered from darkness and into light, into glory, into conquest!
Growth and Fruit-Bearing
you shall grow spiritually like the trees of Lebanon. you shall bear fruits like a fig tree.
The key insight here is that growth is explicitly from God, not from human effort. There’s a clear distinction drawn between growth and fruit-bearing, suggesting they are related but distinct processes.
“Growing in grace/knowledge” speaks to the inward development of the believer… and “bearing fruit through the Holy Spirit” points to the outward manifestation of this growth in the form of spiritual productivity.
Let us not forget that the primary benefit of this growth and fruit-bearing is for others, not just the individual. We are meant to be “channels of blessing to the community,” using our development to nourish and catalyze growth in others. Growth is seen as a means to an end, not an end in itself – the ultimate purpose is to build up the body of Christ.
This section represents a significant theological deepening, moving beyond superficial changes to encompass a comprehensive spiritual transformation. The light/darkness motif is richly developed, connecting to the work of sanctification and deliverance from the powers of darkness.
Equally profound is the understanding of growth and fruit-bearing – that these are divine initiatives, with the ultimate purpose being the edification and nourishment of the broader community of believers. The dual dynamic of inward development and outward impact underscores the holistic nature of spiritual maturity.
Folks, I’m sorry, but at this point, It’s 2:30 in the morning. I’m only up to make sure that I can rest knowing that the candidate I’m praying for to lead the USA, has a lead too big to rig, with a terribly great chance of winning.
If you noticed I employed the help of ClaudeAI and my previous writings to add a bit of meat to this strong skeleton of an outline. I pushed to complete this, before making my conclusions in another article.
