On Meditation
Meditation/Flow is intentional nothing and natural/unintentional something.
It’s mindful mindlessness, and mindless mindfulness.
You’re intentionally not thinking about anything, and you’re… what, thoughtful about your intentions? I hope that makes sense.
It’s sort of like Goku’s Ultra Instinct where he doesn’t think and just lets the mind move. Only the way I see it, now that I revisit it, is more like you aren’t giving your mind precedence over your body, nor are you giving your body precedence over your mind – if that makes sense. The mind is not thinking ahead, only focused on the function of the body, while the body moves without extra effort, working completely in partnership with the mind, as it should. Gosh, I don’t know if all this that I’m ‘adding’ is adding any value or taking away from my original point.
Note that even in the mindfulness of it all, there is the temptation to ‘record’ whatever does pop up. Just so I’m not being counterproductive, I have to remind myself to rest – That is, to realize that it is still up to me whether to retain what thoughts do come up, or to let it return to the ‘ether’ to pick up at a later time, or to be at peace if I never think about it again.
There, I think there it is – the definitive cause and effect of meditation is rest.

On Responsibility and Education
There is a difference between authority and responsibility… Or, rather, responsibility is the action of appreciating the privilege of authority, resulting in more actions; And there it is. I believe the measure of responsibility is seen in our appreciation (or lack thereof) of the authority we have, whether it is earned or given to us.
With that said, taking responsibility is taking ownership over this authority, this power, and as such, it is being genuinely thankful – taking responsibility is seeing authority as a blessing, rather than a chore.
Later on in the quarter I also wrote down that there’s a difference between being knowledgeable and educated. And in light of this, I can also say that education is the action of appreciating the privilege of knowledge, resulting on more actions. The TRUE measure, also, of our education is seen in our appreciation (or lack thereof) of the knowledge that we have.
Education is taking ownership over the knowledge that we do have. For us in the body of Christ I venture to say that it is the wise application of knowledge and intelligence… And taking it a step further, I dare say that for us to have any sort of ‘wise application’, we would do well to be thankful for the knowledge and intelligence we do have.
The blessings of the Lord enriches, and He adds no sorrow to it.
Proverbs 10:22
Let’s not forget that we are in Christ, and He is in us. He is the Blessing of all blessings, and He is the Authority of all authorities enabling us to be responsible, and He is the Knowledge of all knowledge enabling us to be educated.
Let us not be in sorrow. Let us have peace with what we have, because in Christ, we are enriched. Thank You, Lord.
