[011017] Extreme Focus, Extreme Favor, & Extreme Forces by Oscar Magallanes

Extreme Focus is, indeed, having our mind made up that God is who He is, and Christ is who He is. We have our mind made up on who we are in Christ, and who Christ is in us. Extreme focus is sort of a contradiction in the sense that the more you focus, the less you focus. What I mean is that you aren’t working to focus on the finished work on Christ. You work from the finished work of Christ, already knowing that you are in Him and He is in you.
Extreme Favor is being elaborated as blessings, but Pastor Oscar was saying that this also involves living sacrificially. Now, I’m not in agreement with living sacrificially before you see the blessings manifest. No, I believe that as Christ sacrificed all for you to have all, so you operate, so you give sacrificially out of the same love. If we are to live victorious lives, Pastor Oscar says, we are to live and to think the right thoughts – and the right thoughts are thoughts made alive in Christ. Yes, we stop every now and then to acknowledge and certainly to appreciate the love of God through Christ’s finished work… but contrary to what we want to believe, it doesn’t actually take so much from you to take a breath and to breathe in the wonderful love of Christ.. exhaling with a smile.
The rejection of temptation is inferior to the appreciation of God’s elation upon you, His creation, in Christ, our Salvation. This is not positive thinking – your positive thoughts may be facts, but as you can see, facts can easily be twisted nowadays. No, this that we do is simple appreciation of the Truth – and nothing can be closer to the Truth than the actual Truth, Jesus Christ.
Your life will follow your thoughts… And we ought to set our thoughts, not on facts, not on what we see. Our thoughts are established in what faith established by Christ dictates, which is the Truth.
