Amidst the clash of truth and falsehood, we combat spiritual evil, not people. Christ's victory secures our righteousness and justice. Trusting in the Lord, we repent and meditate on His finished work, finding peace in His sovereignty. The evildoers may seem to prosper temporarily, but their triumphs are short-lived. In the end, the meek will inherit lasting peace through Christ.
The author explores the dual nature of meditation as intentional nothing and unintentional something, akin to mindful mindlessness and mindless mindfulness. They emphasize the value of rest and the temptation to record thoughts.
