Where I write, to be exact.
It is Christ who takes precedence and priority over every resource, tool, and strategy in our disposal. Christ is the Life infinitely superior to our resources, Christ is the Way infinitely superior to our tools, and Christ is the Truth infinitely superior to the facts that we gather.
"...this is the Truth that stands - with or without our participation."
To impose absolutes over finite creations will fail. No, you impose percentages over the finite, but you impose absolutes, or in other words you would place your full trust in the infinite.
We have a perspective of peace present to us no matter what happens to us, or no matter what we make happen.
Gosh, just going through this, and just typing this all down has me stopping myself, to think how I simply could just lose my mind IF I tried to take it all in...
My response to this - and this is probably why I needed to stop everything else to type this, in order to just reinforce myself - is that it's not that my trust is in what my senses perceive as my reality - no, it's because I acknowledge that eternity, beyond my senses, is what is much more real to me. From another point of view, the truth of eternity overwhelms me and renders me confident to look at this reality as it is without the weight of adding flawed 'spiritualization' to the picture.
Possibilities versus guarantees. Expectations versus reality. Integers versus boolean values. Variables versus constants. Facts versus truth. LOVED. FORGIVEN. SAVED. UNION. ACCEPTED. HOLY. RIGHTEOUS. DIED. NEW. ROYAL.
Going deeper down the rabbit hole of the Gospel and God's everlasting love for us.
