The wounds in Christ's hands and side were the receipt of Christ's death and resurrection. They were the proof and confirmation that what Christ said was finished, IS finished.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

He is the value in every step we make, and He is the direction in every path we make.

My hope is placed on nothing less Than Jesus Christ, and His righteousness.

For all this we say, great is His faithfulness.

Who has believed what he has heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?

Save us, we pray, O LORD! O LORD, we pray, give us success!

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

I feel as if it's more of me being overwhelmed for the wrong reasons...
