TL;DR It all consolidates to meditation, from glory to glory.
I should be wrapping up right now but I need to put something on the record before I forget about it.
There’s a need for a personal vision before contributing to the vision of any other entity in this world.
Now that I think about it, now that I’m writing about it, I’m remembering what Pastor Joedy said comprised of a vision: Hindsight (considering the past), Foresight (the future), and Insight (the present).
But before I go ahead and write about any of that, I need to bring out what I had in mind:
Solomon led the procession and sacrificed what I imagine was a whole bunch of bulls and other ritual animals, before he had that famous dream conversation with the Lord – you know, the one where he asked for wisdom instead of power and riches.
Jesus Himself went to the mountain and prayed, enjoyed time with His Father, before His next encounters with the disciples, like where He walked on water.
There was also that one time the disciples confronted Him about a certain demon they couldn’t cast out, saying that particular one required prayer and fasting.
I’m trying to remember the rest… Well, let’s remember the example we shared last Sunday, about how Joseph, through sudden massive pain and prolonged pain continued to trust in the Lord, resulting in favor with authorities involved.
For that last one, let’s actually pull up Scripture (as we really should):
2 The LORD was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. 3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD made all he did to prosper in his hand. 4 So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority.Genesis 39:2-4
Then Joseph’s master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison. 21 But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. 22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners who were in the prison; whatever they did there, it was his doing. 23 The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph’s authority, because the LORD was with him; and whatever he did, the LORD made it prosper.Genesis 39:20-23
So apparently, Joseph didn’t do anything – The LORD was with him.
37 So the advice was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of all his servants. 38 And Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?”
39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you. 40 You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.” 41 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”Genesis 41:37-41
The Lord was with Joseph. We don’t see it for ourselves. Potiphar saw it. Pharaoh saw it. And Joseph found favor in their sight.
I was supposed to write all of this down right before, oh, I don’t know, dusting off the old guitar to worship, to give sacrifices of praise in hopes for divine favor as Solomon received… Or just praying as Christ did, for the winds and waters to obey me.
Now I’m reading through Joseph, and it wasn’t anything about what we did, but about who Joseph was with; And today, here and now, we’re in the body of Christ, and Christ is in us.
We find favor in the sight of authority, because of Christ – Emmanuel, ‘God with us’ – and all He has done for us.
Perhaps the lesson and reminder here is to understand that Christ has already done it all, and if we are to work, we’re to remember Christ, in celebration of what He did for us.

Psalm 117
Let All Peoples Praise the LORD
1 Praise the LORD, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples!
2 For His merciful kindness is great toward us, And the truth of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD!
Why do they go as far as to praise God?
And why do they go as far as to encourage others to praise God?
And why do they encourage even those who are not of them, to praise God?
It’s because His merciful kindness is great toward us.
We praise, and encourage others to praise, because His merciful kindness is great toward us.
We praise the LORD (and we are able to go as far as to encourage others, even strangers) to praise Him, because His Truth endures forever. And the Truth of the matter is that Christ, God’s only begotten Son, IS God’s great, merciful kindness towards us, and His Spirit is guarantee of this Truth.
We recognize the Word as communication from eternal to finite, from Creator to creation; To clarify, the Bible is a reliable compilation and consolidation of the Creator’s words, seen and understood by creation. And the Spirit is God’s Word manifested here in this reality, that the world would see that through Christ, Emmanuel; The world would see that God is our Father who is with us, here and now, unto forever.
Great is Your Faithfulness, my God and Father! Halleluyah!
12 What shall I render to the LORD For all His benefits toward me?
13 I will take up the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of the LORD.
14 I will pay my vows to the LORD Now in the presence of all His people.
Psalms 116:12-14
He is great, and He does miracles so great. There is no one above or besides Him;
He alone is God above all gods. He is fully glorious, awesome and mighty;
He is deep and wise, benevolent and glorious.
Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness.
Thank You, Father, for Your mercies, new every morning.
Thank You, Father, for everything.
Amen, and amen.

There is need for realization management. Or, just a system for recording ideas as they come.
Or, maybe it’s already been established: If it was meant to be recalled, it will be recalled.
Thoughts as of late:
- Need to work on reducing intake. Not enough to increase steps and all; That’s just maintenance. Change, drastic change is necessary. Then the maintenance follows.
- Personal vision before assisting in other visions. Personal vision first over all other visions.
- Also, prioritize the house, considering recent events. Drastic change is necessary.
- Continue in documentation. Consolidation. Creation has increased and the mind is satisfied, but what does it all consolidate towards? Insight toward personal vision.
Joshua 10: The 5 kings came against Gibeon, and Joshua, bound by treaty, responds to help Gibeon.
And the LORD said to Joshua, “Do not fear them, for I have delivered them into your hand; not a man of them shall stand before you.”
Joshua 10:8
There were more who died from the hailstones than the children of Israel killed with the sword.
Joshua 10:11b
…the sun stood still, And the moon stopped, Till the people had revenge Upon their enemies.
Joshua 10:13a
And there has been no day like that, before it or after it, that the LORD heeded the voice of a man; for the LORD fought for Israel.
Joshua 10:14
Drastic change. Consolidation.
His merciful kindness is great toward us. His Truth endures forever.
Praise the LORD, forever. Amen!
